Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky add another luxury amenity to their Byron Bay 'Westfield-style' mega mansion as property experts reveal that it could now be worth more than $75 million

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s Byron Bay mega-mansion has become even more impressive with the couple adding a new luxury amenity to the massive property.

New aerial photos exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail reveal the Hollywood stars have quietly added a championship-style tennis court to the sprawling Broken Head compound they share with their three children - daughter India, 14, and twin boys, Sasha and Tristan, 12.

The latest addition further elevates what is already regarded as one of Australia's most spectacular private homes, with prestige property observers suggesting the estate could now command well in excess of $75 million if it were ever offered for sale.

Planning documents show the private tennis court has an estimated cost of almost $150,000.

The latest aerial images also reveal what appears to be a purpose-built dirt bike track winding through another section of the property, adding yet another recreational feature to the thrill-seeking family's private retreat.

The Hemsworth estate, which was once likened to a Westfield shopping centre due to its mammoth size, offers something few properties in the region can match — a 4.2-hectare coastal landholding, complete privacy, sweeping ocean views and an extraordinary collection of resort-style amenities.

Having originally purchased the property for $7 million in 2014, Chris and Elsa demolished the existing Balinese-style residence before embarking on a multi-year build that transformed the site into one of Australia's most recognisable, and talked-about, celebrity homes.

Today, the expansive estate is reported to include six bedrooms, a 50-metre infinity pool, spa and steam room, media room, indoor gym, outdoor training areas, games room, private two-lane bowling alley, extensive outdoor entertaining terrace, hundreds of rooftop solar panels, gated private road access, and now a new championship-style tennis court and purpose-built dirt bike track.

The home also appears to have been spruced up after photos taken last year showed the residence looking a little worse for wear.

In the images taken in November 2025, moss was seen creeping up sections of the exterior walls of the estate.

It gave parts of the lavish home an unexpectedly weathered look, with dirt and grime also visible on several surfaces, while fallen leaves had collected along the walls and outdoor areas.

Meanwhile, rust was beginning to form on some of the mansion's metal fixtures.

Small streaks were seen around railings and fittings, highlighting the effects of the coastal climate on the expansive property.

Last year, Elsa revealed that the decision to relocate to Australia with husband Chris was all about regaining perspective.

Speaking to News Corp, Elsa said that the couple found Los Angeles, where they were residing previously, too 'restricting'.

'When you're in LA, work suffocates you,' she said.

She added that Byron Bay was far removed from the constant industry chatter that plagues the City of Angels.

It was a sentiment that Chris shared in an interview with Modern Luxury back in 2020.

'I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffocating,' he said.

He added that Byron Bay provided a calmer environment in which to raise children - their daughter India and twin boys Sasha and Tristan.
