Charlotte Tilbury shared insight into Kate Hudson's dreamy makeup look at the 2026 Oscars and how the Song Sung Blue actress has been "killing it" on the red carpet during an interview with E! News.
Oscars 2026: Charlotte Tilbury Reveals Kate Hudson's Makeup Secret
Kate Hudson may be running point on the hottest red carpet looks.
After all, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury couldn't help but praise the Song Sung Blue actress' makeup at the 2026 Oscars on March 15.
"It's fresh, dreamy, healthy, glowy looks that she does, the rose petal cheeks and colors," the pro—whose brand was worn by Kate—exclusively told E! News at the Elton John Foundation Oscars viewing party. "It's that golden glow to her skin." (See all the stars on the Oscars red carpet here.)
“That's really trending now on the red carpet, and you're seeing that look on everyone, where they're sort of dreamy," she continued. "You take soft, blurred petal colors. Everyone's doing it in that. But I think she really epitomizes that. She loves that, so that was why I think she's really set the trend this season. I think she's killing."
As for what products Kate—who is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role—reached for to get her glowy look? Charlotte revealed that it includes the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Airbrush Flawless foundation and concealer, the Airbrush Flawless finishing powder, and the Pillow Talk Blush Balm lip tint in Pillow Talk Medium.
The 53-year-old added, "She loves the products."
But it wasn't just the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star's makeup that had her looking like a dream at the Conan O'Brien-hosted ceremony. In fact, she arrived in a show-stopping seafoam green custom Armani Privé gown, adorned with sparkling crystals and featuring a peplum bodice.

And her ensemble didn't stop there. She topped off her look with more than 41 carats of rare green diamonds, worth $35 million, thanks to Garatti's dazzling necklace.
Although the pièce de résistance was her jewelry for the evening, the best part of the award show was her date: her mom Goldie Hawn. Indeed, the Cactus Flower actress dazzled in a black glittery Grayseful by Maria Lopez gown alongside her daughter.
