Charlotte Dawson's son Jude has been rushed to hospital and put on oxygen just three weeks after his last health scare.

The TV personality, 33, shared details of her 'scary' night after her two-year-old son was struggling to breathe and coughing all night.

Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday, Charlotte shared an update from Jude's hospital bed after he was rushed to A&E and hooked up to oxygen.

The toddler's latest health scare comes just three weeks after he was last treated in hospital for the same virus - but Charlotte said he has since come off oxygen and is now on the mend.

Charlotte revealed back in December that Jude had again come down with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Bronchitis - one of the common viruses that cause coughs and colds in winter.

Aged just seven weeks, Jude was hooked up to oxygen for six days as he battled the virus, with doctors telling Charlotte he would have died if he'd come into hospital a day later. He was hospitalised with it again at eight months old.

Speaking to fans in a video, Charlotte said: 'Thank god this little angel turned himself around this morning. He couldn't even breathe last night. He's been off oxygen now for about two hours. He is on his inhalers every two hours. His oxygen kept dropping, that's why. Oh, what a day, guys.

'So he was literally in the night last night just coughing his guts up, and it was awful. He usually always sleeps in his own bed, in his own cot, he's amazing at sleeping - but last night, I kept bringing him into me because he was just kept screaming for me. So I brought him in the room, and then he was going, "mummy, mummy, I can't breathe. I can't lie down. My chest hurts".

'He finally went to sleep and woke up at six o'clock, and I just knew, I just thought, "I'm gonna have to ring 111". So thank God they sent an ambulance and they blue-lighted him straight up.'

Charlotte continued: 'His oxygen levels were so low and he was so grey and so white, his colour. And then we got up here, we were really worried about him. He was on oxygen. Been on oxygen all day.

'Literally, as soon as he gets to hospital he just gets it just gets so much better. Thank God. It's just so scary. Like, we literally can't catch a break with this RSV with Jude. We were literally in here three weeks ago, and now we're back. It's just always going to be a weak spot for him.

'But I'm in the right place. I'm glad I'm staying tonight, because, to be honest, if I got home and he got worse again, there's just... there's just no point. At least I'm in the right place.'

Elsewhere Charlotte shared a sweet video of her and Jude enjoying buttered toast in his hospital bed as she took his mind off his illness.

She captioned the video: 'After such a magical weekend we have had an unexpected trip to hospital again with my Judey this morning, we were only here 3 weeks ago!!!

'But he struggles so much with RSV and his breathing - been such a scary morning and day but he's just amazing how quickly he makes his recovery ❤️‍ Thankgod!!!!

'We are having yummy hospital toast now in bed as we have to stay over.. he's been off oxygen for a few hours now so hopefully the only way is up now ❤️ love him so much xxx.'

In December Charlotte explained that Jude suffered a 'horrible turn' due to RSV bronchitis.

Speaking on her Instagram Story, Charlotte said: 'Jude is a lot better, he has come round and a miraculous recovery really. It's been a lot.

'I think they are going to let him out. He's been taken off the oxygen now.'

She added: 'He really struggles with this RSV and I think he will forever really. The last time that he was in he didn't have to be put on oxygen but his levels were that bad this time.'

'He has been full on playing in the play room, making all the nurses laugh and being the character that he is.'

'The worst week ever this, I put my phone in the washing machine, the car broke down, my train got cancelled and Jude is in the hospital.'

Charlotte shares Jude, two, as well as Noah, five, and Gigi, eight months, with her partner Matt Sarsfield.

In a previous update, she said: 'What a horrendous week & 24 hours... Our Judey had a horrible turn last night whilst I was in London, now I'm reunited with him in hospital.

'Thank god for daddy and grandad last night and today.

'Had to cancel everything I had on in London straight back to my cherub hoping he's out tomorrow. Anything work related will sort tomorrow.'
