Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.

Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.

She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.

During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox reveals how Marvel saved the Disney+ series.

In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Cox, who plays the titular character of Daredevil: Born Again, said he and Vincent D'Onofrio, who portrays Kingpin, were grateful for Marvel Studios. The actor explained that after he and his co-star voiced their concerns about the creative direction the show was going in ahead of its first season, the company actually listened to them and was willing to reconsider the plot. As a result, they completely reworked the entire season after they agreed that the initial version of the project was not coming together.

During the discussion, Cox explained that the original approach tried to separate itself from the original Netflix show by changing the tone. However, the actors realized fairly quickly that the Disney+ series' original concept would force the story to stray too far away from the flagship series. Cox and D’Onofrio believed that Daredevil: Born Again distancing itself that far away from the Netflix show would eliminate all the things that viewers loved. The actor added that the grittier themes of the Netflix series were what made the show work and its characters work, so changing it would be a mistake.

Cox praised Marvel for being willing to completely change the direction of Daredevil: Born Again at the last minute. He acknowledged how that decision was a huge financial risk, so the fact that the studio gave it a shot anyway is something that he will always be thankful for. He also credited them for taking feedback from both himself and D'Onofrio seriously during the process.

According to Cox, many studios believed that traditional procedural TV was becoming outdated and that it would "die." But he said that audiences continue to gravitate toward those kinds of series because they are "addictive" and difficult to execute properly. He added that Kevin Feige later explained that Marvel Studios wanted to bring that style of story to Disney+, and Daredevil was the obvious choice.
