Celebrities have taken to social media to send out prayers for the Los Angeles fire victims.
Often they inundate their followers with stock photos of the fire scene and sad quotes.
Then there are those who have asked for money, like Mandy Moore, who begged fans to help give her brother $60,000 amid the crisis.
But there are several stars who have stepped up in a big way to write massive checks to help those who have lost it all.
Among the classy bunch are Beyonce, Eva Longoria, Michael Douglas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Bethenny Frankel.

The pop star announced the money will be given to the LA Fire Relief Fund through her BeyGOOD Foundation to help victims of the wildfires, which have devastated large swathes of southern California since they broke out last week.
A message posted on the charity's Instagram page stated: 'Los Angeles we stand with you. BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars.
'The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.'
Beyonce's donation comes after the Walt Disney Company pledged $15 million to help rebuild communities devastated by the fires while Paramount and Fox Corp. handed over $1 million in contributions to the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fires broke out last Tuesday (07.01.25) and at least 24 people have been confirmed dead with thousands more having lost their homes - including celebrities such as Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton and Billy Crystal.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex have been among the famous faces trying to help out with the royals joining efforts to distribute food and supplies to victims of the wildfires in Pasadena, where they also thanked first responders and met with affected families.
The couple live in Montecito - around 90 miles north of the affected area - and they are believed to have offered their $14 million mansion as a refuge to friends fleeing the fires, which have left more than 100,000 people displaced.
The duchess has also announced she's delaying the launch of her new Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan' because of the disaster.
Paris Hilton, 43, has written a check too. Hilton is launching an emergency fund through her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to 'support displaced families with young children,' she wrote. 'I'm starting with a personal contribution of $100,000 and will be matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more.' Seen on December 12 in NYC
The show had been due to hit screens on January 15 but at her request, the streaming service will now hold back the lifestyle show until 4 March.
She said in a statement: 'I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.'

Paris and husband Carter Reum, also 43, share son Phoenix, 23 months, and daughter London, who turned one in November.
The hotel heiress also confirmed in her Instagram post her family is safe and sent her 'heart and prayers' to everyone hit by the Palisades fires.
Kim Kardashian has supported the LA firefighters.
She gave money to Carousel Restaurant—an L.A. hotspot serving up authentic Lebanese dishes.
The restaurant revealed that the Kardashian family had banded together to donate an undisclosed number of meals to several of the area's fire stations valued at a little over $2,000 per a receipt in one of the photos.
'We proudly delivered meals to several fire stations today. Thank you to the frontline members for your dedication to your communities. A special thank you to the Kardashian family for funding the meals—your generosity knows no bounds,' the restaurant wrote in the caption of its Jan. 9 Instagram upload.

'Anyways, we decided to evacuate 'cause we were under a warning, and then we kept getting an alarm. We have many friends at my house who had to evacuate from other areas so my house is full.
'I know a lot of people weren't so lucky. We've donated clothes, we literally emptied out my pantry to take down to all of the places that are accepting donations.'
She then revealed that she will be matching the donations made to the organization This is About Humanity up to $50,000 for frontline essential workers and families impacted by the fires.

Eva also mentioned that now is not the time to analyze all the stuff on social media about what went wrong.
'LA is strong, everybody has been so helpful in the communities all over from Altadena to Pasadena to the Pacific Palisades. Everybody is on the street. Everybody is helping. People are coming together in beautiful ways.
'It's beautiful to watch,' she gushed.
She concluded by thanking the fire fighters and first responders for their tireless efforts to put out the many fires burning around Los Angeles County.

'I'm in communication with Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass and Senator Schiff as to where those funds need to be directed for the most impact.'

The actress appeared on the show to promote her new film The Last Showgirl, in theaters January 10, but before she discussed the film, she became visibly emotional while addressing the fires.
'I'm literally just about to cry. Mostly because of that beautiful welcome,' Curtis began, as the audience started to applaud, with one screaming, 'You're beautiful!'
She tearfully continued, 'As you know, where I live is on fire right now. Literally, the entire city of the Pacific Palisades is burning.'
'I flew here last night. I was on the plane, started getting texts. And it's f***ing gnarly, you guys. It's just a catastrophe in southern California,' she said.
'Obviously, there have been horrific fires in many places. This is literally where I live. Everything. The market I shop in. The schools my kids go to. Friends, many, many, many, many, many friends now have lost their homes,' she said.
'So it is -- it's a really awful situation. I am, you know, obviously going to go home first thing tomorrow and be with my family and try to help my friends,' she continued.
'But it is -- just so I can tell you, if you know anybody on the west coast or not, the American red cross, support them,' she said.

'They will come in and help people. Do anything you can. Anything in your community to help people, whether you need it or not now, you will need it. Give blood, donate, whatever,' she said to applause.

'I'm an American red cross ambassador. Have an emergency kit with prescription glasses, medicines, dog food, baby formula, all the things you need if you have to flee,' she added.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, she addressed her appearance on the program in a post shared on Instagram.
Jamie penned: 'Flying to New York and hearing the beginnings of the stories of the fire was very challenging to be far away from my home and family and friends and feeling very powerless.
'I suited up and showed up for work here in the city, complete with the recreation of the hip, thrusting meme from the movie, Perfect, and was greeted by such warmth from @fallontonight @jimmyfallon and @ questlove and their team.
'It was complicated to feel like we were making comedy in the midst of such a profound tragedy across the country, but we did.'

The bruhaha began on Friday when Moore, 40, posted information about the fundraising effort for her brother-in-law Griffin Goldsmith and his wife Kit, launched by Matt Koma, Hillary Duff's husband.
'Griff is a touring musician and also lost his entire arsenal of drums/percussion he uses to make a living,' she explained, adding the couple are expecting their first baby in the next few weeks.
In response to the brutal comments the Dr. Death star had received, she amended the post telling detractors 'And people questioning whether we're helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic. Of course we are.'
The In Real Life singer, who shares children Gus, almost four, Ozzie, two and Louise about four months with husband Taylor Goldsmith, 39, and had shared the damage at her family's house in a previous post said, 'We just lost most of our life in a fire too.
