Brynne Edelsten has returned to the spotlight after her latest legal woes.

The socialite was accompanied by her mother, Mariel Gordon, as she attended the Aron Katona 'Spellbound' Runway at PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival on Sunday.

The 43-year-old appeared in good spirits after being bailed from jail in late December.

Brynne showed off her buxom figure in a sequinned, neon pink and black dress with a thigh-high split and a plunging neckline that flaunted lots of bust.

The former reality star added a pair of platform heels in black patent leather and wore a number of rings.

For makeup, she chose a clean palette with a rosy blush and a pink lip gloss, while wearing her blonde hair down and straightened.

Mariel, meanwhile, chose a boho blouse with a bright, multi-coloured design and beamed as she sat alongside her troubled daughter at the fashion show.

The appearance comes after the fallen fashion icon fronted Melbourne Magistrates' Court in January after she was charged with trafficking meth and ketamine.

She was joined at court by her United States-based mum, who flew 14,000km to deliver a $5,000 cash guarantee to keep her daughter out of custody.

If Edelsten breaches her bail conditions or flees before answering her charges, then her mum, a former Phoenix, Arizona schoolteacher, could lose her cash.

Edelsten was bailed on December 30 after fronting court the day after she was allegedly caught with meth, ketamine and a date rape drug at her dilapidated Fitzroy apartment complex the day before.

Officers were tipped off about an alleged smuggling operation in October when one of Edelsten's co-accused allegedly sent parcels containing meth from Victoria to Tasmania.

She appeared in court wearing Gucci reading glasses and clutching a Calvin Klein handbag, but said nothing during the brief hearing.

Edelsten's bail conditions included that she surrender her passport and report to police three times a week.

The blonde became famous after she married eccentric multi-millionaire Australian businessman Geoffrey Edelsten - 41 years her senior - in November 2009.

The US-born beauty met Edelsten in Las Vegas before arriving in Australia a year ahead of the couple's glitzy $3 million wedding at Crown Casino.

Their headline-grabbing wedding featured various celebrities and included a speech from Seinfeld star Jason Alexander, despite the actor not even knowing the couple.

The bride then maximised her fame and model looks with red carpet appearances, and popped up on TV shows including SAS Australia and Dancing with the Stars.

Edelsten, who was born Brynne Gordon in Oklahoma in the US in 1983, also had her own reality TV show Brynne: My Bedazzled Life.

However, things started going downhill for Edelsten after her marriage to Geoffrey ended in divorce in 2014.

Geoffrey died in Melbourne aged 78 in June 2021.

A series of drug controversies later and now Edelsten, who once lived in million-dollar plus properties in Port Melbourne and the CBD, is now holed up in a Fitzroy halfway-house apartment block.

In April 2022, Edelsten was charged with trafficking and possessing ice but she avoided a conviction as she worked her way towards a comeback.

In September last year, Edelsten announced she had a new mystery boyfriend and returned as a judge at the Runway in the Rainforest event at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

However, the latest drug charges and her dwelling have put a clamp on any potential plans to re-enter high society.

Edelsten will front court next April 21.
