Brooks Nader is hitting the beach.

The “Love Thy Nader” star, “Dancing With the Stars” alum and former Sports Illustrated model is the latest to join the cast of Fox’s “Baywatch” reboot, which will air sometime in the 2026-2027 broadcast season.

Nader will star opposite Stephen Amell, who plays the lead role of Hobie Buchannon, as well as Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone and original series star David Chokachi, who returns as Cody Madison.

Nader will play the series regular role of Selene, the sharp-tongued captain of the Zuma beach lifeguards.

“While she is excellent at her job, she and Baywatch Captain Hobie Buchannon have a very different approach to saving lives that is a constant source of friction,” per the character description. “Never on good terms, their relationship only goes downhill after Hobie brings his daughter Charlie onto his team… and it becomes clear that their rivalry goes much deeper than lifeguarding.”

The “Baywatch” reboot is gearing up to shoot this spring in Los Angeles, between the famous Venice Beach and the Fox studio lot in Century City, thanks to a $21.1 million tax credit from the state of California.

A follow-up to the beachside behemoth starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, the new “Baywatch” is showrun by Matt Nix, who executive produces alongside pilot director McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. It’s a co-production between Fox and Fremantle.

The series picks up years after the original “Baywatch,” and the wild child Hobie Buchannon is now a captain following in the footsteps of his father, Mitch (played in the original by Hasselhoff). Hobie’s world is turned upside down when the daughter he never knew, Charlie (Belkin) shows up at his door wanting to continue the family legacy.

In February, Fox hosted a massive open casting call for “Baywatch,” auditioning 2,000 wannabe lifeguards and beachgoers. Variety had a front row seat, interviewing acting hopefuls and the talent behind the reboot.

Nader is represented by WME, Dixon Talent, Inc. and by Leigh Fidler, Chief Brand Officer of Nader Sisters Inc.
