Britta DeVore is a Senior Author for Collider who has been known to dabble with Reality News as well.

Have you seen stories about 'Chucky,' 'Scream,' 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'The Boys,' 'Vanderpump Rules,' or any of 'The Real Housewives' franchises? That's probably a Britta DeVore-curated piece of art, and it sounds like you have great taste.

When she isn't sitting behind her laptop bringing readers her hot takes on upcoming projects or keeping the dream alive in the Senior News team, Britta can usually be found outside hiking or inside behind her drum set. She currently plays in two bands, Kid Midnight and Watergate, both based in Brooklyn. An obsessive traveler, Britta loves long road trips to the South West and has a soft spot in her heart for canyons, rivers, and forests.

She also has a tiny cat named Athena that she loves more than anything else in the world and is always happy for new brewery recs.

True crime dramas have certainly carved out a place on television over the last several years. While we’ll always love a good investigative documentary, sometimes a real-life tale can hit home even more when your favorite actor or actress steps into the leading role — just look at the success of HBO’s The Staircase or Netflix and Ryan Murphy’s Monster franchise. Soon, BritBox will unveil its latest foray into the genre when The Lady hits the platform on March 18. Combining the world’s obsession with the royal family with a shocking story of love, lies, and murder, and mixing both with a stunning leading ensemble that includes Mia McKenna-Bruce (How to Have Sex), Ed Speleers (Downton Abbey), and Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones), the series has the recipe for being a well-received success. Today, as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we’re excited to unveil two new images from the four-episode miniseries that showcase two of the title’s stars.

Featured in both shots is the woman at the center of the twisted drama, with McKenna-Bruce perfectly encapsulating the personality of convicted murderer and former royal family dresser Jane Andrews. Wearing a busy light blue, gray, and white blouse in one image, we see Jane walking confidently into a room while a suited man carrying her shopping bags follows closely behind. The other photo is a darker one, with Jane looking directly at the camera while her ex-partner and victim, Thomas Cressman (Speleers), stands in the foreground and looks off into the distance. Despite it being only an image, the vision of the two together is an uncomfortable one, as it looks like Thomas has absolutely no idea who he’s gotten involved with.

What Is ‘The Lady’ About?

Following one of the biggest scandals surrounding the royal family that didn’t come from within, The Lady examines the life of Jane Andrews (McKenna-Bruce), an aspiring fashion designer who stumbles into a job as the royal dresser for Sarah, Duchess of York (Dormer). From within the walls and halls of Buckingham Palace, Jane finds her place alongside high society and quickly becomes enamored by her new life. But after she’s let go following nearly a decade of service, Jane begins to spiral out of control. All seems better when she crosses paths with a successful businessman named Thomas Cressman (Speleers). However, once their relationship runs adrift, Jane fully snaps and eventually kills the man she once loved.

Check out our two new shots from The Lady above and stay tuned for more to come from Collider’s Exclusive Preview event. The Lady arrives on BritBox on March 18.
