Katie Bates has revealed she entered an intensive therapy program in the wake of husband Travis Clark's cheating scandal.
The 25-year-old Bringing Up Bates star made the admission in a now-expired Instagram Story posted over the weekend.
Clark confessed to cheating on his wife of four years in January, one day after she'd publicly revealed she suffered a miscarriage.
The couple share daughter Hailey, three, and son Harvey, 15 months.
'I’ve wanted to come on here and say something for a while but I honestly haven’t really known how to put words to any of this,' she told her 595,000 followers on Sunday, per an Us Weekly account.
'This year didn’t start how I thought it would. It’s been really heavy and emotional in ways I wasn’t prepared for. Some days I feel okay and steady and other days it’s hard to even leave the house.'
She shared, 'I’m getting ready to attend my first four-day therapy intensive. I don’t really feel equipped to handle something like this on my own, so getting help feels important.'

The mom-of-two continued, 'I know I can’t pour into anything else well if I’m not actually working through this in a healthy way.
'Being mom to Hailey and Harvey and finding little pieces of normal life again has been so grounding for me. I’m not very good at expressing my emotions, so this probably feels scattered, but I’m trying to lean on God and He has brought me so much comfort.'
For now, the television personality said she's taking things day by day and thanked fans for their support.
'The love, prayers, and messages I’ve received have meant more than I can explain. I don’t always know how to respond, but please know I see it and I’m grateful,' she told her followers.
The note ended, 'I don’t know how much I’ll share as I walk through all of this or what that will look like, but I did want to say thank you for the kindness and grace you’ve shown me. It truly means a lot.'
Social media was also the forum Clark chose to release the statement about his infidelity.
'This is hard to write, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology,' he shared on Instagram last month. 'I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust.'
'There is no excuse for what I did,' he added. 'This was my failure and my responsibility alone.'
The remorseful husband vowed, 'I am taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome.'

Clark went public with his cheating confession one day after Bates revealed that she suffered a miscarriage
In January the Bringing Up Bates star posted an Instagram video in which she cried, 'I just lost my baby,' while lying in a hospital bed
Bates then responded publicly, uploading a statement via multiple slides shared in a carousel post.
'This is not how I imagined beginning this year or this new season of our lives. This has been an incredibly painful time for me and for our family,' she began.
Elsewhere in the note she lamented, 'Our marriage has been deeply hurt and my trust has been broken.'
In the wake of the hardship she said she was focusing on 'our children, their future, and my own healing.'
The influencer explained, 'After privately expressing deep regret and sorrow for his actions, Travis told me he felt it was important to publicly take accountability for what he has done, and I support his decision and desire for transparency.'
She said she and her husband were 'seeking counsel both together and individually' and added that she was 'also being supported by legal counsel.
