Finneas has revealed the one food that Australians make better than any other country as he prepares to return Down Under for his 2025 tour.

The record producer, 27, whose full name is Finneas Baird O'Connell, is kicking off his solo tour in January and has shared his excitement for his return to Australia.

Promoting his tour on The Project, Finneas told how he insisted that he kick off his tour Down Under because he loves so many things about Australia.

'When we planned the year of touring, I was like ''can we start in Australia?'' because I love it there so much and it's the time of year I like to be in Australia the most,' he said.

The older brother of Billie Eilish also revealed the one surprising food that he thinks Australians make better than any other country in the world - poached eggs.

'You also poach an egg, you poach an egg like nobody's business! In the United States, we don't understand poached eggs the way you guys do, it's an Australian expertise,' he shared.

Like many others, he also lauded Australian coffee as he insisted it is miles better quality than anything he can find in the United States.

He added: 'In Australia, you guys do a thing which they don't do enough in America which is that you put either a slice of orange or orange peel or rind in an Americano, which is just super classy and super nice.'

Though Finneas is looking forward to his own solo tour, he admitted leaving behind his younger sister Billie, 23, has been 'bittersweet'.

Finneas has accompanied Billie on most of her headlining tours but has decided not to join her for her ongoing Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour because of his own plans.

'It's been very bittersweet. I only decided to do it because I knew that I couldn't be in two places at once,' he told Jake Shane on the Therapuss podcast.

'I can't do my own tours and her tour at the same time, and I don't want to prevent her from touring as much as she wants to tour.'

Nonetheless, Finneas praised her 'amazing' concert tour and said his absence does not take away from the show.

On past tours, Finneas - who famously produces and writes music with Billie - has played the electric guitar and drums for his sister.

'And then the sweet part has just been I've seen the show a few times and it's amazing,' he gushed.

'I think her show is incredible. It doesn't suffer at all because I'm not there.'

Finneas is kicking off his solo tour, titled For Cryin' Out Loud!, in New Zealand on January 7 with a performance in Auckland before he flies over to Australia.

On January 9, he will take to the stage at Brisbane's The Fortitude Music Hall before performing at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion just two days later.

He finishes up the Australia leg of the tour with two shows in Melbourne, when he will take to the stage at the Forum Theatre on January 13 and 14.

Finneas will then jet back stateside to carry on his tour with stops in Chicago, Nashville, Detroit and Los Angeles, before heading off on his European leg.

The show is set to wrap up on May 9 in Cologne, Germany, and has already received rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
