The music icon, 54, showed off her toned bikini body in a zebra print two-piece as she relaxed in the sun with Thomas, who has also previously worked for Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg.
Blige showed off her curves in the skimpy ensemble which she paired with a headscarf and large gold hoop earrings.
Thomas showed off his hunky frame in red swimming trunks as he and Blige relaxed on two hanging chairs.
He worked with Lopez back in 2018 and was pictured with her during a trip to New York City's Polo Bar.
Blige was previously married to Martin "Kendu" Isaacs - who was also her manager - from 2003-2018.

Blige previously said she could 'sense' her partner didn't want her anymore, and she was left 'suffering' by herself.
Speaking about her romance to radio show host Angie Martinez on Power 105.1, the No More Drama hitmaker said: 'I can sense that I'm not what you want anymore.'
'You start to realise that this man doesn't want you and he's just gone all the time and you're by yourself in the relationship.
'When you realise you're by yourself and you're just suffering through it, now it's time to do some investigating.'
'When I got the full proof, I didn't have to investigate it. It just showed up.'
And, although the vocalist is in the midst of finalising the divorce dealings, she has praised her fans for saving her and for helping her get her life back on track.
Speaking previously, the musician said: 'I've finally got my life back. My fans have saved me. I have to keep going for them ... I chose life. At anytime we all go through dark times.
'You might lose something when you make a positive choice and lose something when you make a negative choice, so for me it's best to just lose whatever you're going to lose to get your life back.'
