Big Brother 28 has certainly gotten off to an exciting start in its first weeks, and after an eviction that left Jason outside the house, the power was up for grabs for the fourth Head of Household of the summer. While the last week of Big Brother gameplay hasn't been easy on the house, there were some major shifts in alliances and power, with the large Toolshed alliance being in control once again. Despite the fact that Kamu was the HOH, Survivor alums Dee Valladares and Rick Devens were steering the ship, making it clear they were maintaining the power.

Kamu initially chose to nominate Lyric, Mallory, and LaTrice for eviction, but his plan was to backdoor Jason after the Power of Veto competition, giving him the Blockbuster as the only opportunity to save himself from eviction. After an intense Veto competition that saw Lyric victorious, Kamu did put Jason on the block, but before the drama of the Veto meeting, he chose to call his replacement nominee out in front of the whole house. Attempting to clear up rumors he'd heard about Jason, the house meeting made Kamu look power hungry, and shook up the rest of the house.

While the BB Blockbuster competition was a mix of skill and luck, Jason and Mallory were fiercely competing for the win after Mallory got wind that she may wind up leaving the house should Jason take himself off the block. With Mallory's allies attempting to gather votes throughout the days leading up to the eviction, the BB Blockbuster wound up sealing her fate when Mallory won over Jason. Sadly, that meant that Jason was evicted from the Big Brother house by a unanimous vote. Now, with the power up for grabs, a new HOH has taken control of the game.

Haley Won Big Brother 28 Week 4's Head Of Household Competition

After Jason's eviction, the Big Brother live feeds came back for a short while to show the houseguests in their post-eviction disarray. With some of the BB 28 houseguests happy to see Jason go, others were struggling with their new reality as they waited for the HOH competition to begin. So far, the Big Brother 28 HOH competitions have favored the Dee/Devens side of the house, who were all ready to see Jason head home. Unfortunately, the other side of the house wasn't happy to have someone who could've shielded them leave the game behind, making them more vulnerable.

With Haley coming to power in the most recent HOH, however, it's not likely that things will begin to shift in the Big Brother house. The season has felt like the power has shifted to one side in the game, which has made it impossible for the rest of the houseguests to figure out where they stand or what they can do. Now, with the Toolshed getting their power back, Big Brother 28 is continuing a pattern that some may find it tough to come back from. Haley's nominations will be made quickly, which will make her plans clear.
