He studied creative writing and English with a concentration in screenwriting at Southern New Hampshire University and interned as a writer/journalist for The Borgen Project, an influential organization that fights global poverty.

However, one of his proudest achievements is editing a Leonardo DiCaprio freakout compilation that has over 150K views on YouTube. Adam also fancies himself an amateur film reviewer on his website.

As the wait for Severance season 3 continues, Ben Stiller is hyping up Apple TV's promising new series.

The comedic actor is an executive producer and primary director of Apple TV's Severance, which aired its season 2 finale in March 2025. The wait for Severance season 3 should continue for another year, as it isn't expected to release until mid-to-late 2027, with filming expected to start in April 2026 and run through December 2026, and post-production lasting approximately 6–9 months.

Now, as the wait for Severance season 3 stretches on, Ben Stiller is hyping Apple TV's Widow's Bay. In response to a trailer for the show, Stiller simply said, "This looks really good." See the full post below:

Created by Katie Dippold (Parks and Recreation), Widow's Bay follows the skeptical mayor of a New England town who refuses to bow to the superstitions of its residents who claim that the place is cursed, but while trying to boost tourism on the island, he comes face to face with strange events suggesting it very well might be cursed.

The series stars Emmy winner Matthew Rhys (The Americans) in the lead role as the mayor alongside BAFTA nominee Kate O'Flynn (Everyone Else Burns), Emmy nominee Stephen Root (Barry), Kingston Rumi Southwick, Kevin Carroll (The Leftovers, The Walking Dead), and Dale Dickey (Breaking Bad).

Widow's Bay is inspired by Stephen King, which creator Katie Dippold confirmed in an interview with Polygon. Directors on the series include Hiro Murai (The Bear), Ti West (the X trilogy), and Andrew DeYoung (The Chair Company). The series was officially ordered in September 2024, with filming taking place in New England throughout much of 2025.

On the surface, Severance and Widow's Bay don't appear to have much in common, but the upcoming Apple TV show also appears to have a central mystery that will slowly unravel over the course of its 10-episode first season. Like Severance, Widow's Bay also seems built around a slow-burning central mystery, layering eerie clues beneath its story as the truth behind the island's possible curse comes into focus.

That shared structure suggests that Widow's Bay will be another carefully paced puzzle-box mystery from Apple TV designed to reward patient viewers with unsettling revelations and a steadily tightening sense of unease.

The first three episodes of Widow's Bay premiere on Apple TV on April 29, with the following seven episodes releasing weekly on Wednesdays.
