Below Deck Down Under Trailer Teases Aesha Scott's Intense Replacement

What We've Learned About Yachting From "Below Deck"

Below Deck Down Under is boldly going where it's never been before.

Captain Jason Chambers and crew are sailing into the Seychelles off the coast of Eastern Africa for the very first time in the trailer for the Bravo series' upcoming third season.

In the first look—released Jan. 7—Jason has enlisted an almost entirely new team of yachties for their new charter season, which comes with some unexpected twists and turns.

"In my 25 years of being a captain, I've learned that you can't be in control of everything," Jason teases in the preview. "Sometimes we need to step out of our comfort zone. Explore new depths, and face the challenges in front of us."

Replacing beloved Chief Stew Aesha Scott is new Chief Stew Lara Rigby, who has some extremely high standards for her interior team.

After Jason declares, "When the guests walk on here, I want them to have the best experience," Lara demands from her staff, "The cabins have to be perfect: Iron the creases, polish the cutlery, no fingerprints on the tables, I want the glassware spotless, remember don't pour too much. If it's not great, do it again."

However, Lara quickly butts heads with returning Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, who thinks, "Lara is the biggest control freak I've ever met."

Cut to Lara complaining about the drama to Jason by telling him, "She's saying that I bullied her. That's not bullying, that's my professional opinion."

As for Jason's take on their beef? "I will not tolerate heads of department yelling at each other."

But Lara isn't Tzarina's only problem. The foodie also has issues with her new sous-chef Anthony Bird undermining her authority.

"There's an undercurrent of negativity on board," Jason then tells one yachtie, "and, to me, it's an infection. And I gotta keep cutting the infection out, so I'm gonna let you go."

Also returning is Deckhand Harry Van Vliet, who has "grown some balls" since last season and is shown flirting with several female crewmembers. As he boasts in a confessional, "I've got some game now."
