Bec Judd's fiery message for Gen Z influencers after she was labelled 'too old' for Coachella

Bec Judd has declared that she is not 'too old' for Coachella after she attended the famed music festival in California earlier this month.

Speaking on her Vain-ish podcast, she hit out at those who suggested that 'over-40s' should not be seen at the three-day event.

'If you actually go to Coachella, you will see that it's not a young people's event,' the 43-year-old AFL WAG said as she answered a listener question

Bec also staked a claim for her generation as the true pioneers of music festival culture.

'We created this scene, we were the first attendees of these festivals, and our peers were the first deejays, promoters... creating these festivals,' she said.

Warming to her topic, Bec went on the attack, claiming that the 'zoomer' generation has no right to exclude over-40s from the festival scene.

'So when Gen Z are like, "What are you doing here?" it's like, "mate, you wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for us",' she said.

'If you're over 40, 100 per cent you belong. If you're over 50, 100 per cent.'

Elsewhere, Bec and her co-host Jessie Roberts shared details of their Coachella 2026 experience, which they attended with buddies, including former AFL WAG Jessie Murphy, 35, and 39-year-old Lauren Phillips.

Bec complained that 'young influencers' spent more time on their devices recording the event rather than enjoying headline acts including Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber.

'They [young influencers] don't even look at the act, they've just got their phones up the entire time. All the millennials are the ones dancing and having fun,' she said.

It comes after Bec gushed over the inclusion of Justin Bieber in the lineup for the iconic California-set music festival.

'As soon as they announced Justin, ticket sales were chugging along, and then it sold out in half an hour,' Bec told the Herald Sun last month.

'I didn't realise he could pull such a crowd, it was the fastest-selling announcement.'

Coachella is an annual music and arts festival that brings together some of the biggest artists in the industry and thousands of music fans.

Some of the biggest musical acts in the world have performed there, including Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Post Malone.

Last year, Bec left little to the imagination as she partied at Coachella with her mother Kerry, sister Kate and Jessie Roberts.

The glamorous podcaster stepped out in a see-through white crop top and skirt.

Bec, along with her girl gang, opted for an all-white fit on the second day of the event, which saw performances from Charli XCX, Green Day, Clairo and Travis Scott.

'White night for Coachella Day 2,' she captioned the post, which showed her lady friends all in matching festival fits boasting a white hue.

The model showed off her killer abs in the top and skirt combo by bridal wear brand J'Aton Couture, an Aussie label she previously donned at Coachella in 2022.

Bec, who is married to sports superstar Chris Judd, had her trim pins on full display in the mini mesh ensemble, which was covered in large embroidered flowers.

She accessorised the outfit with a pair of white ankle boots, a white cowboy hat and a $6,200 Chanel purse.
