Batman Fans Losing Their Minds Over Official Arkham Trilogy Return

3 hours ago 9

It may have been well over a decade since the Batman: Arkham series first arrived on the scene, but there is no denying that the Rocksteady Studios franchise has become one of the most iconic in gaming. Consisting of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Batman: Arkham Knight, the franchise also welcomed multiple spin-offs, handheld games, mobile games, and even VR entries, with the "Arkhamverse" as a whole being met with critical acclaim and commercial success.

It has now been over a decade since the last mainline entry, Batman: Arkham Knight, was released, but the Batman franchise as a whole is far from over, especially as our Gotham Knight is expected to return very soon in one of 2026's most anticipated video game releases.

Yes, I am talking about Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight, the Lego-themed action-adventure game and the fourth installment in the Lego Batman franchise. Developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Games, it launched on 22 May 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Heavily inspired by the Batman: Arkham series, it is no wonder that fans are excited to get stuck in, and a recent leak has revealed some of the outfits you can expect to show off throughout Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight, and yes, they are all inspired by the Batman: Arkham universe.

Shared over on Twitter/X, we can see the seven outfits which come alongside the Batman Arkham Trilogy DLC Pack for Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight. This includes skins for Catwoman, Robin (who is bald for some reason), Nightwing, Jim Gordon, Talia al Ghul, Batman himself, and Batgirl. Showcasing their Batman: Arkham fits, albeit in a more Lego-looking form, it is exciting to see the beloved Rocksteady franchise play a large role in the upcoming Lego Batman title.

 Arkham DLC skins

As you can imagine, those excited for Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight soon took to the comments to share their thoughts on the Batman Arkham Trilogy DLC Pack. "Talia, Catwoman, and Jim look amazing…everyone else, let’s not talk about it," one user shared. "I only wish they'd include non-armored Asylum/City Batman!! Still, I love the inclusion of Talia's city look, alongside the others," another comment read.

With some fearing a bald Robin, whilst others are sad that Red Hood will not be making an appearance, it seems as though the DLC pack for Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight will not be for everybody. On the other hand, it seems as though the game itself is shaping up to be one of the best releases of 2026 with early previews already handing out the 10s in earnest, including us here at Screen Rant. With just a few days to go until the launch of Lego Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight, hopefully it will live up to the hype and give us a possible contender for Game of the Year.
