Bachelor Nation Viewers Arent Rooting For The Golden Bachelorettes Joan To Find Love (Chock & Guy Have Major Red Flags)

1 week ago 7

The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos is down to her final two guys, Chock Chapple and Guy Gansert, but Bachelor Nation has recognized their red flags and isn’t looking for her to find love with either of them. Throughout The Golden Bachelorette season 1, Joan has gotten to know an eclectic mix of guys including her final two, Chock and Guy, who have been able to make it through the entirety of the season continuing to build their relationships with Joan. While their connections have been strong, viewers have struggled watching them throughout the season, especially in the final stretch.

Joan, who originally appeared on The Golden Bachelor season 1 as a potential match for Gerry Turner, has been doing her best to navigate the mindset of a lead while having barely spent time on the other side of the line. Having left The Golden Bachelor early, Joan wasn’t present for Gerry’s Golden switch-up, nor has she been part of the social media backlash surrounding her former Bachelor flame. While Joan’s reputation is safe in the eyes of Bachelor Nation, Guy and Chock may have to worry. With viewers rooting for Joan to end up alone, their reputations aren’t safe.

The Golden Bachelorette Was Highly Anticipated But Has Grown Boring

Joan’s Final Choices Aren’t Exciting

Although Joan has been doing a great job leading The Golden Bachelorette, the men who are left on her journey haven’t been inspiring Bachelor Nation to keep watching. During the early episodes of the season, Joan’s journey kept viewers consistently tuning in to see who was building a relationship with the lead and who wasn’t. When Joan seemed to hit it off with The Bachelor season 28 winner Kelsey Anderson’s father Mark Anderson, it appeared like it was going to be a fascinating season with several different guys leading the pack.

Although Mark made it nearly to the end of the season, his departure was hardly the thing that pushed Bachelor Nation away from the series. Throughout The Golden Bachelorette season 1, it’s become clear that Joan’s group of guys wasn’t quite as interesting as the cast of The Golden Bachelor season 1. Though there have been a few standouts this season, the majority of the cast have been forgettable faces with milquetoast backstories. The cast has been a letdown, and those who were interesting enough to follow have been left behind as Joan’s narrowed things down.

Although Joan and the rest of The Golden Bachelorette cast has been doing their best to hype the series up, Bachelor Nation is disappointed in the men who are left in the competition for Joan’s heart. While there were some major red flags surrounding Joan’s second runner-up, Pascal Igbui, many were hopeful that he would be the final rose recipient for The Golden Bachelorette. With Pascal gone and only Chock and Guy remaining, Bachelor Nation has been growing more bored with the season in general, as it doesn’t feel like there’s much left to explore.

Joan’s Final Two Guys Are Disappointing In Different Ways

Chock & Guy Both Have Major Red Flags

Although Chock and Guy are the men that Joan has brought into the final days of her Golden Bachelorette journey, viewers are struggling to see the merits of either. Guy may have a decent connection with Joan, but after learning that his ex-wife had a restraining order against him in the past, viewers have had a sour taste in their mouths about him. Chock doesn’t have any legal issues that The Golden Bachelorette viewers are aware of, but his red flags are becoming more prominent, and the potential he’s love bombing Joan. Both men have been disappointing to Bachelor Nation.

The Golden Bachelorette airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
