Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, the fan-favorite married couple who hooked up on ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise,” are launching a weekly podcast series about their life after the TV cameras stopped rolling.
The duo’s new podcast “Not Married to This” premieres March 12 on all SiriusXM, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and other major audio platforms. The show is produced in partnership with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network.
On the show, Pitt and Amabile are “tackling everything from navigating their 11-year age gap to deciding who would make a better ‘Traitor’ to debating whether or not Lizzie McGuire was the voice of a generation,” according to the description for “Not Married to This.” Listeners will “get a front-row seat to their ever evolving pop-culture deep dives, hot-takes, relationship advice, and in-depth interviews with some of your favorite reality TV stars — from the POV of two reality tv veterans who have been there.”
Pitt, who is now 28, and Amabile, who is 39, met on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” culminating in a proposal from Amabile on the beach. They were married in October 2022 in New York City.
“Serena and Joe have a really fun, thoughtful take on the shows and moments everyone is already talking about,” Alex Cooper said in a statement. “They bring both the fan perspective and their own behind-the-scenes insight, which makes their conversations incredibly entertaining.”
Serena and Joe said in a joint statement: “It’s a natural next step for us to share this growth alongside the community that has supported our relationship from the start. We’re sharing it all. From our recent fights and love languages to the trending pop-culture moments we can’t stop texting about.”
Cooper, host of the popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast, inked a multiyear deal with SiriusXM in 2024 worth up to $125 million. She launched the Unwell Network in 2023 through Trending, the media company Cooper founded with her husband, Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment. In addition to “Call Her Daddy,” Unwell Network’s shows include “Extra Dirty” with Hallie Batchelder,” “In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele” and “Boyfriend Material With Harry Jowsey.”
