Armie Hammer Cameos As “Kannibal Ken” in Music Video 4 Years After Cannibalism Claims
Armie Hammer is heading back to the big screen.
More than one year after the Los Angeles Police Department ended their lengthy investigation into the Call Me by Your Name alum over allegations of sexual assault—which he denied—Hammer has landed a lead role in Uwe Boll’s upcoming Dark Knight, E! News can confirm.
First reported by Variety, Hammer—who was also the subject of cannibalism rumors—is slated to play the titular character in the upcoming vigilante thriller, which will begin shooting later this month. News of the 38-year-old’s leading role comes just over a month after he landed a role in an upcoming Western, The Frontier Crucible, alongside Shameless’ William H. Macy and Thomas Jane.
Indeed, Hammer recently opened up on just how booked and busy he’s been.
“I’m turning down jobs,” he gushed on the Your Mom’s House podcast earlier this month. “My dance card is getting pretty full.”
Although it will be over a year until either of Hammer’s new projects hit theaters, he did recently appear in his first acting role since 2022 in a music video for artist Georgie Leahy’s song “Typical Squeeze.”

In the video, Hammer appears to poke fun at the cannibal allegations that once surrounded him, as his character is named Kannibal Ken, and a sequence of CGI body parts appear to flash on the screen after his brief appearance.
Of course, his recent music video role would not be the first time Hammer—who shares kids Harper, 10, and Ford, 7, with ex Elizabeth Chambers—has made light of the former controversy. He recently admitted that he “likes” the gossip pertaining to cannibalism.

“I’m not gonna lie,” Hammer explained in the debut episode of his Hammer Time podcast in October. “I kind of like the cannibal stuff now. I’m just like, ‘Hey, I’m a cannibal.’ What makes more noise? ‘Armie Hammer is a cannibal’ or ‘Armie Hammer might not be a cannibal.’”
And he also recently doubled down on his fetish for bondage that snowballed into the cannibal rumors in the first place.
“I like the idea that you are so completely mine," the Social Network alum explained on another episode of Hammer Time earlier this month. “I can do whatever I want, and you love it because you know you're mine. This possession kind of thing, that's just fun to talk about, especially if you're drunk or stoned or high at night and you're texting."
He emphasized that his leaked messages were not meant to be taken literally.
“While you're saying it, you're chuckling to yourself, like, 'I'm gonna f--king cut your toe off and keep it in my pocket so I got a piece of you everywhere I go, ha ha ha,’” Hammer recalled. “Then it gets read in the court of public opinion and everyone goes, ‘You're insane.’”
