On Rotten Tomatoes, Matchbox The Movie sits at a disappointing 25% critics' score based on 24 reviews at the time of writing.

The film's audience score has yet to be revealed, which should happen over the weekend, as it was just released. Matchbox The Movie follows Cena's Sean Walker, a spy, who has to steal a nuclear weapon with his childhood friends to clear their name with the CIA after being suspected of having stolen it in the first place.
