After a particularly strong start to the year, Apple TV still has plenty more exciting new and returning content to offer in 2026. On April 3, Jon Hamm returns to lead a second season of the hit series Your Friends & Neighbors; the heartwarming hit soccer series Ted Lasso returns for a fourth installment; Multi-Emmy Award winner David E. Kelley delivers an adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel Margo's Got Money Troubles on April 15, and much more. All of these will join the slate of shows already popular on the site, including the ongoing third season of Shrinking.

Starring the likes of Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, and Jessica Williams, Shrinking debuted in January 2023 and immediately became a hit for Apple TV. One of the best comedies on the streamer, the blend of laughs and heartfelt drama at the core of Shrinking has remained constant to date and helped keep it at the top of millions of watchlists. The current third season is just as impressive as the first two, with the addition of high-profile guest stars, including Cobie Smulders, Michael J. Fox, and, more recently, Jeff Daniels, yet another reason to keep tuning in.

The most recent episode, "Dereks' Don't Die," saw Ted McGinley's titular Derek's health take a turn, and in the rest of the episode, "Jimmy helps Liz cope; Meg comes clean with Paul; Gaby makes progress with Maya." Thanks to this latest episode, Shrinking has fought off tough competition to rise back to the streaming summit, becoming the most-watched show on Apple TV in the U.S. Globally, the series is third, behind Hijack and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

'Shrinking' Season 3 is a Hit

Sure, it couldn't hit the near-perfect 97% heights of the second season, but Shrinking Season 3's score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes is still extremely impressive at 90%. Technically, the lowest score of the series so far, this is less an indication of any sort of downward trend in quality and more an illustration of the show's consistency. The consensus on the site reads, "Shrinking's soothing balm of eager humanity shines through in the series' laugh inducing, heartstring pulling and tender third season."

Shrinking is available on Apple TV. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
