Apple TV has given audiences a sneak peek into the second season of Criminal Record, the hit thriller starring Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo. Check out more pics below.
Criminal Record Season 2 will launch April 22 and, in line with other Apple TV thrillers, will drop weekly through to conclusion on June 10.
Created by Paul Rutman, Criminal Record Season 2 reunites Capaldi’s Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty with Jumbo’s Detective Sergeant June Lenker. When a young man is stabbed to death at a political rally, the rival officers are forced into an uneasy alliance. What starts as a hunt for a murderer escalates into an undercover operation to foil a far-right bomb plot in the heart of London.
Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marhsall and Peter Sullivan join the cast in addition to the returning Criminal Record ensemble that includes Shaun Dooley, Stephen Campbell Moore and Charlie Creed-Miles.
Alongside the likes of Slow Horses and Bad Sisters, Criminal Record has been one of Apple TV’s biggest UK hits. It is produced by Tod Productions and STV Studios. Executive producers are Elaine Collins, Rutman, Capaldi and Jumbo. The series is directed by Ben A. Williams and Joelle Mae David.
