Hannah covers horror, sci-fi, and games at Collider, where she writes news and features, reviews new releases, and interviews the people who make them. She’s helping build out Collider’s gaming coverage, with Pokémon as one of her specialties. If she isn’t writing about a monster, she’s probably watching one on a tape from her VHS collection.

Spoilers ahead for the Chicago Fire Season 15 premiere.Chicago Fire has said goodbye to enough familiar faces to make the beginning of a new season feel a little dangerous. Surviving an emergency doesn’t necessarily mean someone will be sticking around Firehouse 51, especially when the fallout follows them back to work. After Season 14 ended with a massive explosion, there was already plenty for viewers to worry about heading into the premiere.

Leadership has been another major source of change for the NBC drama. Eamonn Walker’s departure as a series regular left the show with the difficult task of moving beyond Chief Wallace Boden, whose relationship with the firefighters had developed over twelve seasons. His successor had to earn their trust while giving audiences a reason to accept someone else in charge. Now, that chapter has come to an end, too.

Dermot Mulroney officially wrapped up his run as Battalion Chief Dom Pascal in the Season 15 premiere, “New Blood,” which aired October 7. The appearance concluded the actor’s two-season stint following his introduction in Season 13. Pascal’s departure follows the loss of his job, with the former chief considering a firefighting opportunity in Phoenix and offering Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) some parting advice.
