Anna Faris has confirmed that she's now sober roughly two months after sparking concern from fans following a red carpet appearance in June.
Discussing her sobriety on Chelsea Handler's Dear Chelsea podcast this week, the Scary Movie actress, 49, revealed that she's no longer drinking alcohol and has started taking hormones to help with her moods.
'It turns out there's a correlation between drinking and depression for me for sure,' she said.
'I finally got on hormones, the hormone patch,' she continued, adding that it has made a 'huge difference' for her.
Faris also explained that she had taken a 'step back' from drinking in order to 'not self-sabotage'.
It's unclear when exactly the star stopped drinking, as she did not elaborate any further.

It comes after the star raised eyebrows while walking the red carpet to promote her comeback role in Scary Movie 6 back in June.
At the time, a video went viral of Faris appearing animated and incredibly expressive at the film's Los Angeles premiere.
Her appearance and behaviour divided fans, with some expressing concern, while others felt that the quirky actress may have just been nervous from walking the red carpet and doing press again after so long.
'Love her, but really worried about her health here. I hope she's okay,' fretted one observer.
'This doesn't look like her normal self at all. I've watched her in interviews in the past and I've watched her show Mom several times,' wrote another. 'Her mouth is really weird. I really hope she is ok.'
'I'm so sorry, I'm not trying to be unkind but I hope that Anna is doing well. She seems not all there,' wrote another worried fan.
Another added, 'Don’t get me wrong she seems sweet but something’s off.'

Her behavior sparked some concern from fans, but others felt that the quirky actress may have just been nervous from doing such a huge press blitz after so long away from the spotlight
Others defended The House Bunny star, with one fan writing, 'She's just expressing her emotions and her son is there.'
A second wrote, 'I love Anna so much. She deserves all the success and happiness.'
Faris is currently in the midst of a career resurgence following her lead role in Scary Movie 6, which was a huge hit at the box office.
She's currently promoting her next film, the star-studded comedy Spa Weekend with Isla Fisher and Leslie Mann.
Faris also has a major part in the upcoming Robert Pattinson drama Primetime, which is based on Chris Hansen from To Catch a Predator.
The actress and her ex-husband Chris Pratt eloped in 2009 and welcomed their son in 2012. They separated in 2017 and finalized their divorce the following year.
The blonde actress has been married to cinematographer Michael Barrett since 2021, after Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019.
