Indeed, in the more than a decade since tying the knot in Lake Como, Italy, in August 2013, the couple has often given fans glimpses inside their life with kids Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 23 months, and Wren, 18 months—along with their many furry family members.
"For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted four children," the Chrissy’s Court star wrote in an Instagram post amid the arrival of her youngest son in June 2023. "As a little girl, 2 glow worms and 2 cabbage patch dolls were perpetually in my arms, helping me stir in my kitchen, watching Alf with me. We'd sleep together nightly, each getting the same amount of kisses as to not make the others jealous."
But for John and Chrissy, growing their dream family came with its own set of challenges and heartbreaks. In fact, the 39-year-old has shared insight into her years-long fertility struggle—Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren were conceived using IVF—and surrogacy journey with their youngest son, Wren, after suffering a pregnancy loss with son Jack in 2020.
"We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra," Chrissy wrote to her surrogate in the Instagram post, along with a pic of herself kissing Alexandra's baby bump. "And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens."
"Our hearts, and our home, are officially full," she continued. "And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you."
As for John, he has never been shy about expressing his love for his family, whether through his chart-topping songs or his bicep tattoo dedicated to his wife and kids.
And that love extends beyond their little ones. Beyond being candid about their journey to parenthood, the duo hasn’t been shy to show appreciation for their “incredible amount of nannies” who help with the kids as they balance work and life.
They are also quick to give each other their own flowers for the way they are raising their little ones.

"You're such a great mom," John told his wife in joint interview with E! News earlier this year. "But I think we also try to make sure that we're there for our kids in the moments that really matter and really help shape their personalities and their views in life. We really talk to them about how to be good people."
But amid major milestones they’ve celebrated with their little ones—like trips around the world or adventures to the 2024 Paris Olympics—Chrissy admitted the best moments are the simple times.
"I think for me, getting to lay down with them and getting to read them stories and hear about their day and stuff," she noted, "that's really special moments that you don't want to miss out on as parents."
Now, to celebrate John’s 46th birthday Dec. 28, look back at some of their cutest family moments…
