How to go inside mirrors

Mirrors work a little differently in Mina the Hollower. You can interact with it to see your own reflection, and even make funny faces.

Below we explain everything you need to know about mirrors, including where to find every mirror in Mina the Hollower.

Mina the Hollower mirrors, explained

Mirrors in Mina the Hollower are much more than they seem because, while they function as mirrors, they also teleport you to another world. Specifically, you'll go to Mirror's End in Astral Orrery. All the mirrors you find around Tenebrous Isle are connected to this world, so you can use them to quickly traverse from one area to the other. However, you'll need to find them and activate them in Tenebrous Isle before you can use them in Astral Orrery.

Each mirror is associated with a color:

Queensbury Crypt: Blue
Bone Beach: Red
Coltrane Peak: Pink
Nox's Bayou: Green
Septemburg: Orange

It's also mandatory to find the mirrors as there is actually a spark generator hidden in Astral Orrery, so you'll need to activate at least one combination of three mirrors to proceed to the next area.

In the center of Mirror's End, there's a blocked-off path to the north. However, as you activate the mechanism in each room, it'll unlock its associated color. The minimum number of rooms you need to activate is three. If you want to quickly get to the spark generator in Astral Orrery, activate one of these seven different combinations:

How to go inside mirrors in Mina the Hollower

To go inside a mirror, you need to repeatedly run into them. Don't interact with them, just hold forward into a mirror until you travel to the Astral Orrery. Once inside, make sure to hit the gold mechanism to unlock the room, allowing you to explore Mirror's End and go back through other mirrors that you've already visited.

All mirror locations in Mina the Hollower

There are six mirrors scattered around Tenebrous Isle in Mina the Hollower, with one mirror in each region. This does not include the mirror in the house in Ossex because you cannot enter that one through normal means. That mirror actually functions as an exit, so forget about that mirror for the time being.

Radiant Manor mirror — Grand Hall

The Radiant Manor mirror is the first mirror you'll run into, and it can be found as soon as you enter the building.

Queensbury Crypt mirror — Statue Head Hall

The Queensbury Crypt mirror is found in Statue Head Hall. This is the location where you need to pick up two statue heads and reattach them to the two statues in the hallway. To get to this mirror, you'll need to burrow into the wall-mounted candle. This will take you to a secret room with a mirror.

Bone Beach mirror — Worm's Back

The Bone Beach mirror inside a tent in Worm's Back. To get here, proceed through the giant worm until you end up outside, in Worm's Back. You'll soon run into this tent. Burrow into it to find the mirror.

Coltrane Peak mirror — Icebound Cavern

The Coltrane Peak mirror is found in the Icebound Cavern, directly after the fight against the Frozen Horror, which is the yellow monster encased in ice. After you defeat them, head into the room in the north. Then, burrow into the room to the right, which will contain the mirror.

Nox's Bayou mirror — Moonlit Path

The Nox's Bayou mirror is found at the very top of the Moonlit Path, directly after a fight against the Mock Moon. To reach the Moonlit Path, you'll need to take the southwest exit in Big Lagoon. However, you'll need to first progress through Big Lagoon and turn the ground into water. Then, make your way around the map until you can burrow into the hole in the southwest corner.

From here, you'll need to make your way to the top of the Moonlit Path, defeat the Mock Moon, and head into the northern room, which will have the mirror.

Septemburg mirror — Farm House (Crow Town)

The Septemburg mirror is located inside the Farm House in Crow Town. When you first enter Crow Town, you'll need to progress across a bridge with a bunch of lightning rods. Then, you'll enter a small town with a few houses. In the bottom left corner of the town, there will be a house with a lady and a red chest on the balcony. Its door is locked, but approach it and a crow will barge out. Head inside and up to the second floor to reach the mirror.
