All memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

Memory chips in Beast of Reincarnation are one of the three collectibles that you need to unlock important features in the game. Fighting the Nushi involves more than just leveling up and unlocking skills. From preparing your weapons to increasing the characters' attributes with food, there's a lot you can do — like using some of the cleanse walker's stations. However, you must increase the ship's attributes to access these, which is where memory chips will come in handy.

Below, you can find the locations of all memory chips in Beast of Reincarnation, and how many are available in each zone.

All memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

Memory chips are green mechanical skull collectibles you can find in different places throughout the game. Whenever you return to the cleanse walker, Emma delivers them to Kagura, and once you've acquired enough chips, the Bauera's Knowledge attribute levels up. These chips will stay in your inventory for as long as you stay in the zone, so be sure to visit the cleanse walker to clear up some space.

By increasing Bauera's Knowledge attribute with memory chips, you unlock upgrades for the following features and items:

• Bow
• Spring Thunder Crossbow
• Arrows
• Bolts

When looking for memory chips and other spoils, be sure to unlock Koo's "Detect Hidden Item" skill, one of the best early abilities you can have in Beast of Reincarnation.

Below, you'll find tables for each zone with the quantity, map, and location of memory chips.

All Ogouchi Buffer Zone memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

In the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, there are six memory chips. While you can naturally encounter a couple of them by following the main quest, you'll need to explore to collect them all.

1		Inside the strongbox on the west side of the map, guarded by an elite enemy.
1		Beside the rusted golem northeast of the Quarry Path camp.
1		This one is beside the rusted golem on the ground in the Quarry, near the Quarry Path camp on the west of the map.
2		This memory chip is in a strongbox inside the tallest building in Subcity 01.
1		You can find this chip at the entrance to a cave in Tailwater Village, on the east side of the map.

All Ancient Civilization Zone memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

Like in the previous region, you can find six memory chips in the Ancient Civilization Zone. This time, however, you won't need to abandon the main quest for long to look for them, since many are near key locations you visit throughout the chapter.

1		Unlock Koo's "Detect Hidden Item" skill, and then, after talking to the golem who sends us after the generator, Koo will find this memory chip for you.
1		Beside a corpse southeast of the Raging River camp.
2		You can take these two chips from a rusted golem in front of the exit of the elevator you take when going to the supply power on the west side.
2		These chips are in a strongbox near the power supply to the south of the Shopping Mall camp.

All The Great Wall Terraces memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

In the Great Wall Terraces zone, you can obtain six more memory chips to upgrade the knowledge level of your ship.

1		Go to the east side of the Rusted Bridge to find this memory chip.
2		You can find these chips near the Great Fores Clearing: Approach camp, beside a rusted golem.
1		Head north of the Ruined Road Square camp to find a house and inside of it this memory chip.
2		Near the Flower Field Tower camp, there's a container that you can open. Inside, you will find a strongbox with these two memory chips.

All Pilgrim's Zone memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

A few chips in the Pilgrim's Zone aren't near the main quest areas, so be sure to take your time to explore some of the distant locations available in this zone.

1		This memory chip is inside a locked strongbox in a tent inside the cave where you look for the bell.
2		These memory chips are inside an iron box that you find in a house in the cave you traverse while searching for the bell.
1		Grab this one from the body of a rusted golem at the entrance to the Stone Chamber.
1		This chip is inside a strongbox found in a house on the wall of the west side of the map. Use the large rock platforms on the wall to reach the house.
1		You find this memory chip inside a strongbox guarded by three golems in the bell room.

All Matsukawa memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

With the chips from this region, you will nearly max out Bauera's Knowledge attribute.

1		This memory chip is inside an iron box on a platform on the west side of the tall building guarded by golems northeast of the Ruins Approach camp.
2		You can grab these chips from a rusted golem at the top of a building while heading toward the Matsukawa Colony.
1		This chip is inside a strongbox hidden in a container located at the top of a destroyed building. To reach the area, head northwest of the Cave Entrance camp.
2		Collect these chips from a strongbox inside a container near the Ruins: Outskirts camp.

All Fuji Frontier Zone memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

If you have been collecting all the memory chips from previous maps, by now you will have reached the max level of Knowledge.

1		You find this chip inside a strongbox on the upper platform ahead of the Collapsed Pipes: Approach camp.
1		To find this chip, follow the route that takes you behind the large statue near the Defense Outpost: Interior camp.
2		These chips are located alongside the remains of a rusted golem southwest of the Defense Outpost: Interior camp.
2		As you head to the final arena in this zone, you will come across a large rusted golem surrounded by enemy orbs. In front of it, you will find these memory chips.

All Giant Tree memory chip locations in Beast of Reincarnation

There are only two memory chips in the Giant Tree zone, and you will only find them later on in the chapter.

You can obtain one memory chip in the Crater Zone, which is still worthwhile even if you don't need more chips to level up Knowledge since it will turn into amber.

Inukami River Zone is one of the last areas you will explore and your last chance to grab many memory chips.

3		You can find an iron box containing three memory chips near the cleanse walker.
1		As you progress in the main quest, you come across a strongbox near a golem you must talk to in the tram area, and inside you will find this memory chip.
1		After riding the tram to the final area in this zone, head west to find a strongbox containing this memory chip.
1		You can find this chip inside a strongbox on the northern side of the map.

The Starfall Tower is a short zone where you can find one memory chip.

You finally reached the last zone in the game and, by now, every chip you collect will become more amber to improve your gear. Even so, be sure to collect the two chips in this zone.
