Adam Blevins began working in the entertainment industry in 2022 as a Staff Writer for Agents of Fandom, where he progressed to Senior Editor and interviewed talent from Marvel Studios, House of the Dragon, and Planet of the Apes. He joined Collider as a News Author in April 2024, was promoted to a Senior position in December 2024, and has written over 3,000 articles for the site, including exclusives relating to Avengers: Doomsday, The Penguin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and more. He primarily writes about the latest box office numbers and the hottest movies and TV shows on streaming, while also covering superhero and sci-fi news. He has completed a set visit for The Chosen and even has several months of experience writing Gaming Features at ScreenRant. You can find him on X, LinkedIn, and Muckrack.

Alan Ritchson has exploded onto the scene as one of the biggest action stars in the world thanks to his role in Reacher. The hit Prime Video series is based on the series of novels by Lee Child. Three seasons of Reacher have already been released, and with another on the way, there are no signs of the show going off the air anytime soon. Ritchson has branched out to some other projects in the last few years, including Fast X, where he can be seen playing Agent Aimes. He also recently strengthened his relationship with Prime Video by starring in a comedic Reacher replacement for the streamer, Playdate, which also features Kevin James. Ritchson’s big project to kick off 2026 is War Machine, the hit sci-fi thriller that’s being positioned as Netflix’s answer to Predator.

Tomorrow will mark two weeks since War Machine began streaming on Netflix, and the film has yet to be dethroned from the top spot as it has established unprecedented streaming dominance. It follows a group of Army Ranger recruits who get caught in the mountains during their final mission, only to discover that the thing hunting them didn’t originate on Earth. After a record-breaking debut, it’s now been confirmed that War Machine is officially the most-watched Netflix movie of 2026. To earn this title, it had to dethrone The Rip, the Miami-set crime thriller that debuted back in January, starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Talks of a War Machine sequel have also been heating up since the film premiered on Netflix, with Ritchson and director Patrick Hughes confirming that they have a sense of where the story could go.

When Does ‘Reacher’ Season 4 Come Out?

Prime Video has yet to assign Reacher Season 4 a spot on the release calendar, but we do have an idea of when the show will return to streaming. During an interview with Collider to promote War Machine, the week before the film's release, Ritchson confirmed that Reacher Season 4 will be released before the end of this year. He also promised that it would be the best season yet, “by far,” which is a high bar to clear. Reacher fans have been treated to three of the best seasons of TV ever in just the last few years.

Check out War Machine on Netflix and stay tuned to Collider for more streaming updates and coverage of Ritchson’s future projects.
