The release date has been revealed for Alan Ritchson's next thriller, Motor City.

Independent Film Company just announced that Motor City will be released in theaters on July 24. This was revealed alongside the news that the teaser trailer is coming on May 6.

In the upcoming film, which takes place in Detroit in the 1970s, Ritchson stars as a recently-released prisoner named John Miller who sets out on a thrilling and intense pursuit for revenge after a gangster frames him for a crime he knows nothing about.

Ritchson is no stranger to thrillers, as he's the star of the Prime Video series Reacher, which released its third season last year. Reacher season 4 is currently in post-production and will premiere sometime in 2026.

The actor's past credits include The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fast X, Smallville, Blue Mountain State, Blood Drive, Titans and the recently-released Netflix sci-fi film War Machine.

His co-stars in Motor City are Shailene Woodley, Ben Foster, Pablo Schreiber, Ben McKenzie, Lionel Boyce, Amar Chadha-Patel and Rafael Cebrián.

Old Henry and Greedy People's Potsy Ponciroli directed the film from a script by Chad St. John. The screenwriter also serves as a producer with Greg Silverman, Jon Berg and Cliff Roberts.
