While still not the biggest streaming service in the world, Prime Video has proven to be a major competitor to Netflix, both with its hit originals and massive library of older classics. The platform has some of the biggest pure action hits in the world, like Reacher, starring the gargantuan action star Alan Ritchson. Prime Video is also home to one of the biggest sci-fi shows in the world with Fallout, an adaptation of the hit video game franchise. Like every other streaming service in the world, Prime Video is also looking for its next big hit, especially one that doesn’t cost all that much. The streamer found exactly this back in 2023 with Jury Duty, the mockumentary series centered around Ronald Gladden, a real person who thinks he is sent to court for jury duty, only he’s surrounded by actors.

Jury Duty was a massive hit for Prime Video back in 2023, and the show earned a Season 2 renewal. Now three years later, Jury Duty is finally set to return with its second season, which will feature a similar premise executed differently. Instead of taking place in a courtroom, Jury Duty Season 2, titled Company Retreat, will follow Anthony, a temp at a hot sauce company, who attends a corporate retreat. Similar to Jury Duty Season 1, Anthony is the only real person in the group — he’s in a staged environment surrounded by actors. All this time after the first season of Jury Duty premiered on Prime Video, all episodes of the second season will begin streaming later this week, on March 20. Jury Duty was written and created for TV by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

What Else Is Streaming on Prime Video Right Now?

Before Jury Duty premieres on Prime Video later this week, Young Sherlock is paving the way as the most popular show on the platform right now. It just overtook Scarpetta, the new thriller led by Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis, to reach the top spot. Other shows like Cross and Fallout are still hanging around the top 10 right now. Prime Video’s biggest hit movie on the platform at the time of writing is The Bluff, which is being hailed as its answer to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Check out the first season of Jury Duty on Prime Video and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Season 2.
