The Book of Mormon is a musical comedy by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
During a prior interview with ABC, Matt said that although Australia's Mormon population is only a fraction of America's, he believes Aussies will still appreciate the musical.
'We could all relate to that idea of growing up and you get out of high school... you think you know everything, then you go to the big city or to college or whatever your version of it is, and you realise you don't know anything,' he said.
'And so that's a great place to find a character. And two characters - you put them into this, you know, into this pressure cooker where they don't know what, anything what to do. And then comedy ensues... song and dancing.'
