Sydney Swans star Brodie Grundy has shared his excitement after revealing he and his wife Rachael are expecting their first child.
The 32-year-old footballer posted a gallery of photos on social media on Wednesday night which captured him and Rachael celebrating the happy news at a scenic beach setting.
Brodie was seen dancing with his partner, who wore her shirt up over her stomach so her growing baby bump was visible, with the pair radiating happiness.
Another picture captured Brodie tenderly cradling his wife's growing belly as she hugged him.
He captioned the gallery with some exciting words: 'Baby boy on the horizon, we can't wait for August.'
The news they are expecting a boy will excite fans of Collingwood and Sydney as they anticipate a future star recruit under the sport's father-son rule, and many fans shared the excitement.

It has been a big year for the South Australian-born athlete, who in October tied the knot with Rachael at an intimate ceremony in Adelaide.
They tied the knot at Kingsbrook Estate in Currency Creek, SA.
Rachael wore a sleek corsetted gown, while Brodie looked sharp in a black tuxedo.
A host of AFL stars attended the wedding, including former Collingwood players Trey Ruscoe and Taylor Adams, Mason Cox and Luke Parker.
The couple have been together since their school years, with reports suggesting they began dating around 2012.

Brodie grew up in South Australia and finished school at Cabra Dominican College in 2011.
He and Rachael have been together for over ten years, often sharing photos from their travels around the world.
Rachael is a physiotherapist with a Juris Doctor degree, and she relocated her work to Sydney following Brodie's AFL move.
She is also a health and legal professional who has worked in North Bondi since Brodie left the Melbourne Demons to join the Swans at the end of 2023.
The couple announced their engagement in December 2023, after Brodie revealed the news at a press conference.
