Taking to Instagram on Monday, Portelli documented the moment his son saw his transformation for the first time.
Mercy appeared to squirm and cry while his dad held him and smiled for a series of photos.
'Mercy's first reaction to skin head daddy!' he captioned his post.
'He wasn't a fan but he eventually warmed up.'

Portelli shared these insights on his close friend Troy Candy's podcast, emphasising Butler's private and non-materialistic nature.
'She's not on socials, she never posts, she's one of those girls who's very low key,' he added.
