Adam Brody and Leighton Meester stepped out for the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, marking their first public appearance since losing their home to the Los Angeles wildfires.
2025 Golden Globes: Adam Brody & Leighton Meester Confess If They Would Ever Act Together
Adam Brody and Leighton Meester continue to be the sweetest life partners.
In fact, the couple enjoyed another rare night out together at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards Feb. 7 in Los Angeles. For the occasion hosted by Chelsea Handler, the Gossip Girl alum turned heads in a sheer shimmering sand-colored gown featuring a corseted bodice and a billowing skirt. As for the O.C. star, he opted for a classic black suit and a white button-up shirt. (See every celeb at the event here.)
The pair’s date night at the annual award show—which was postponed from its initial date in January as the wildfires impacted the county—comes as the two recently lost their home to the tragedy.
At the time, CCA CEO Joey Berlin reflected on the “profound impact” the fires had on the community, noting Jan. 8, "All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected."
Additionally, the big night also comes after Adam—who is nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Netflix’s hit Everybody Wants This—and Leighton also turned the 2025 Golden Globes into yet another sweet date night.
And while there, the two—who have starred in multiple projects together including The Oranges, River Wild and her show Single Parents—revealed that they “always like to work together when it comes up."
Indeed, Leighton shared that the suggestion understandably "comes up a lot." Prompting her husband to elaborate on just how often the suggestion occurs.

"It's true," Adam told Zuri Hall during Live From E!: Golden Globes Jan. 5. "Almost everything we do, they're like, 'Would your husband or wife want to be in this as well?"
And though the pair—who are parents to Arlo, 9, and a 4-year-old son—confessed that they don’t have any immediate projects together on the horizon, that thought hasn’t been ruled out just yet.
"We should come up with something,” Adam quipped, “that we want to do together."
