Abbie Chatfield has stunned by revealing that she is not using her real surname.
In a TikTok video posted this week, The Bachelor star, 29, said that she uses a different family name on legal documents.
'Big reveal. Legally my surname actually isn't Chatfield and it hasn't been for two years,' she said.
'I changed my name to a different family name. I am changing it as soon as I can,' she continued.
'Whether I married a man or a woman or a non-binary person I would take their surname in a f***ing instant.'
Abbie did not reveal what the surname was and said she did not want to state it publicly.

She also said that she has 'no emotional attachment' to Chatfield as it belongs to 'a man who left his family.'
In the comment, Abbie further confessed that her name is not Abigail, but did not specify if it is just Abbie or something else.
Abbie also again hinted that she and boyfriend Adam Hyde are talking marriage as she insisted she would take his surname 'in an instant' if they wed.
It's the second time in recent weeks that the star has implied the pair may be looking to the future.
The podcaster and the Peking Duk musician went public with their romance in June of last year and have teased that things are getting very serious already.
Abbie took to her Instagram Stories recently to reveal that wedding bells might be ringing soon for her and Adam.
She told how she has already tried to reserve the Instagram handle 'Abbie Hyde', which would be her married name if she and Adam tie the knot.
Despite not yet being engaged, Abbie confessed that she tried to nab the username but was left devastated to learn that it has already been taken by someone else.

'If [me and Adam] ever break up, I'm actually going to f**king lose it,' she said.
'It took three glasses of Chardonnay [at] an influencer event [for] one of my friends to go 'do you have the Instagram handle saved for Abbie Hyde?' for me to then go and try to reserve Abbie Hyde as an Instagram handle.
'Not doing a bit, I was like I just won't tell Adam, I'll just reserve it now! It's not available by the way, if you were wondering.
'So I don't know what the f**k to do, now I'm plagued with the thought of, what am I going to change my Instagram handle to when I marry him?'
Abbie and Adam have been going from strength-to-strength since debuting their romance and she has even featured in his on-stage performances.
She joined Adam on stage for his band Peking Duk's New Year's Eve set at the Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide as they rang in 2025 together.
In pictures shared to Instagram, the couple packed on the PDA as they weren't shy of sharing their affections in front of the thousands of fans in the crowds.
One on-stage video showed the couple leading the crowd in the countdown to 2025 before sharing another New Year's kiss.

Abbie also hammed it up with Adam's Peking Duk bandmate Reuben Styles on stage as they playfully ran at each other and bumped chests in front of the crowds.
Captioning the post, Abbie gushed: 'I had a crush on him for two years so severe I had to mute him on socials and now he stops mid NYE set to tell me he loves me????'
Abbie had also joined Adam on stage when he performed solo as Keli Holiday at the Rhythm and Vines Festival in Gisborne on December 30.
She frequently shares loved-up pictures and tributes to him on social media, while he has also featured on her It's A Lot podcast to discuss their romance.
Abbie recently told Stellar Magazine that her relationship with Adam is the best she's ever had.
'It isn't like other people I've had flings with. And this is gonna sound a bit w**ky, but he's had a bigger career than me,' she said after concerns from fans that Adam is 'using her' for fame.
'I don't think he's using me for anything. He's successful in his own right.
'I think I'm cool for being with him, not the other way around.'
Abbie was friends with Adam for two years before they started dating, which she said has added to the trust between them.
'I guess with Adam it's different, because I trust the strength of our relationship,' she said.
'But also, us hanging out isn't a big, new thing. We've been hanging out publicly for years.'
