EXCLUSIVE: Aaron Moten (Fallout) and Clancy Brown (Promising Young Woman) are among new additions to the cast of Nightwatching, the forthcoming thriller based on Tracy Sierra’s debut novel that stars Mila Kunis and Corey Hawkins.
Character details are under wraps. Others rounding out the cast include Pat Healy (Killers of the Flower Moon), Mark Webber (Trigger Warning), Grace Kelly Quigley (Physical), and Duke McCloud (All Her Fault).
Currently shooting in California as part of the state’s tax incentive program, Nightwatching follows Lee, a mother who, during a relentless winter storm, wakes to an intruder in her home. In a single instant, what should have been an ordinary night unravels into a fight for survival. As she struggles to protect her children, she’s drawn into a harrowing game of doubt and danger, one that leaves her questioning not only who has entered her home, but what they truly want.
Adam Schindler and Brian Netto (Don’t Move) are the film’s directors. Laura Moss and Brendan J. O’Brien (Birth/Rebirth) wrote the original screenplay with revisions by TJ Cimfel and David White (Don’t Move).
Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, and Sam Roston are producing for Scott Free Productions, alongside Erik Feig, Jessica Switch and Emily Wissink for Picturestart, and Kunis and Lisa Sterbakov for Kunis’ Brick for Sheep. Roston and Avital Siegel are overseeing production for Scott Free. Executive producers include Graham Taylor and Christopher Slager for Fifth Season, which is financing the film, as well as Justin Alvarado Brown for Scott Free, and Franny Baldwin.
CAA Media Finance and WME Independent are repping domestic rights to the film, which will be released internationally by Amazon MGM Studios.

Previously, the actor has also been seen on shows like The Night Of and Mozart in the Jungle, as well as in such films as Native Son and Emancipation. He is represented by Gersh, Range, and Goodman Genow Schenkman.
Brown is a veteran character actor who has also recently been seen on Fallout, playing the President of the United States. Other recent credits include Regretting You for Paramount and HBO’s The Penguin, where he played mob boss Salvatore Maroni. He is repped by CAA and Pop Art Mgmt.
