Angela became a household name after her 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 debut, in which she flew to Nigeria to meet Michael for the first time. Several similar posts were made and shared online by other pages. Considering they had used the name of a reputable source, several fans fell for the clickbait. This particular post became viral with fans even left wondering what this supposed Netflix special would be about and a few comments getting their popcorn ready.

While Michael usually addresses such rumors to confirm or deny them via his social media, he never did it this time around. Angela took to Instagram to share a poorly edited video that started with the Netflix logo animation intro. Angela added Rihanna’s “Run This Town” to the Reel as background music.

The video seemed to be a compilation of several clips from Angela’s TikTok videos. Some of them were not even cropped properly. The poor quality of the video suggested Angela was trying to prank her followers into believing the “Surviving Angela” rumors were true. She also commented with laughing emojis when a fan asked her for the Netflix special’s release date.

Angela used to insist that she wasn’t fired when 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 was on air, and she wasn’t in any of the episodes. Angela also removed “90 Day Fiancé” from her Instagram bio, suggesting she’s no longer associated with the franchise.
