Claire Didn't Approve Of Rob

Claire is the one who coined the name “Rob the knob” for Rob on 90 Day Fiancé season 10. She was going to think of the “bad stuff” when she got to the U.S. Sophie used the saying, “Talk is cheap, money buys houses,” for Rob. Sophie was in for a surprise when Claire moved to the U.S. Rob and Claire got into an argument the first time they met. Claire had joked about knocking Rob’s mom to the ground, which Rob thought was aggressive. Claire was not impressed by Rob’s “man cave.” Rob started an argument with Sophie and Claire after her reaction and accused them of not understanding where he came from since they’d never been at the “bottom” like him. When Sophie and Rob separated after moving to Austin, Claire was in the States as she’d found a boyfriend in Texas.

In 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8, Claire's disdain for Rob was ever apparent as the mom and daughter duo sat down with Rob an Claire couldn't have a civil conversation with Rob. Claire chastised Rob and wouldn't let him talk. When he was finally able to say something, Claire didn't give Rob's responses the time of day. Claire has her mind made up about Rob, and at this point, there is no changing her mind about it.

Claire did try to be fake nice when she and Sophie went to Rob and Sophie's apartment to tell him Sophie was moving out again. They had an awkward living room sit down after Sophie started collecting her things. Rob looked extremely depressed about the situation and Claire didn't dig into him, but it was clear she was happy Sophie was leaving the house.

Sophie used the opportunity to discuss the real reason she was finding it difficult to get rid of Rob. Sophie didn’t have a stable childhood while growing up.

Sophie said it was one of the reasons she wanted her relationship with Rob to work despite him being a cheater since she wanted a family that was perfect for once.

Claire Got Arrested In May 2024

Claire Was Living In The U.S. With Sophie & Kae

According to Starcasm, Claire was arrested on May 10, 2024, in Williamson County, Texas, for an incident that occurred the day before. Claire was being held on a $5000 bond. She was arrested for “terroristic threat of a family/household member.” It appears there were “weeks of escalating tension” between Claire, Sophie, and Sophie’s friend Kaelin, known as Kae on the show, who were living together for three months. Claire was kicked out of the apartment on April 22, 2024, but the problems persisted partly because of Claire’s financial issues. Claire supposedly kept asking Sophie for money.

Claire was allegedly threatening Sophie with hurting herself if she didn’t send her the money. Sophie had already sent her $3000 since Claire moved out. Sophie also claimed Claire was sending her death threats. Rob’s best friend, Tor’i, had confirmed the same while sharing screenshots of the texts exchanged between Claire and Sophie (via kikiandkibbitz.) Claire Was Missing From The Happily Ever After Tell All

Why Wasn't She There?

The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 Tell All finished in Part 4, but there is still one more episode to come, which will feature the couples wrapping up unfinished business in their shared house. Claire was noticeably absent from the Tell All. It's common for the cast members to have their friends and family show up at the Tell All to give insight. But Claire never showed up, despite being a big part of Sophie and Rob's storyline during the season.

It's likely Claire wasn't at the Tell All either because she and Sophie were not on good terms or because she wouldn't have added any value.

Viewers would have expected more of the same out of Sophie (via ET) and her mom's snarky dynamic with Rob, so there was no good point in her being there. The Tell All was filmed in January 2024, which was shortly before things popped off between her and Sophie.

In April 2024, Rob and Sophie, along with fellow 90 Day Fiancé alums Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs, and Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo, were spotted filming in Arizona. They were filming 90 Day: The Last Resort, the franchise's latest spinoff. In the show, couples at a crossroads get two weeks of individual and group therapy to determine whether they should break up or stay together.

At the end of Happily Ever After?Sophie said she wanted a divorce, so they will be figuring their marriage out in the spinoff. It's possible that Claire will make an appearance on 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2, given that she is such a big part of Sophie's life. However, with all the drama and legal issues surrounding the duo as of late, the network likely chose to part ways with Claire's presence in Sophie and Rob's storyline.

Sophie and Rob were spotted at Disneyland together in July 2024, signaling that the 90 Day Fiancé season 10 couple may have gotten back together. It's possible that they grew closer from Claire's social media and real-life outbursts, or they are just friends. Either way, Claire is sure to be upset with any of that.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
