Baldur's Gate 3's narrative is widely considered to be one of the most expansive stories ever included in a video game but that doesn't mean some players haven't found creative ways to make it even better. When Larian Studios confirmed in early 2024 that it wasn't developing any DLC or expansions for Baldur's Gate 3, fans were disappointed given that several character plots would seemingly be left hanging, requiring one to fill in the gaps themselves. While most chose to do that with their imagination, some went and made their vision a reality.
Over on Nexus Mods, creators Magnetuning and Aimryax shared "Brighter Star," an additional Act 3 romance scene for the moody Warlock Wyll which provides some more context to his character. The amount of effort that's gone into the mod is staggering as the fans edited Baldur's Gate 3's dialogue on the XML level, completely avoiding the game's official toolkit. The new moment with Wyll features dialogue, brings back a cuddling animation that was accessible in the game's early access build, and even allows Tav to comfort their companion after "a key story moment."
