9-1-1 returned for Season 9 on Thursday, February 26, with its eleventh episode of the season. It was an extra-special episode because it re-created the show's title, and the team had something different planned. "Going Once, Going Twice" largely focuses on the characters who make 9-1-1 feel different from other procedurals, and given the rough going this season has had, viewers appreciated this turn. 9-1-1 Season 9, Episode 11 is the highest-rated episode in six years on IMDb, tying with the lauded Season 3 tsunami emergency episode that aired on September 30, 2019. The episode becomes one of the few in the show's history to have a 9.0 rating on the database, and the only one in over half a decade. See the table below for a detailed breakdown of these episodes.

In the well-received hour, the firehouse hosts another charity event that uses the firefighters' physical attractiveness to raise money for those in need. However, the events find Buck (Oliver Stark) dealing with insecurity as the reality of age hits too close to home. Meanwhile, Eddie's (Ryan Guzman) world is a little chaotic after the girl she helped seems to bring more trouble than he bargained for. Elsewhere, Hen (Aisha Hinds) is torn on whether to return to work after she receives some good news from her doctor. These arcs put the characters in vulnerable situations, but the episode ends on a good note as they each find the answers they were looking for and realize that everything will be okay, no matter how challenging life seems.

Buck and Eddie Go to Nashville In '9-1-1' and '9-1-1: Nashville' Crossover

9-1-1 switches gears in next week's episode as the first responder drama crosses over with its newest spinoff, 9-1-1: Nashville. In the promo video below, the duo is having a good time in Music City when they witness a fall from the roof, and soon enough, the city's first responders are on the scene. It's none other than Don (Chris O'Donnell) and his team who find that Buck and Eddie have already begun offering the victim first aid before proper help arrives. The footage shows Buck and Eddie in risky situations, hinting that they team up with the Nashville team for some rescues. Meanwhile, Athena (Angela Bassett) is involved in a high-stakes case back in Los Angeles.
