The Dream Harbor romance book series from bestselling author Laurie Gilmore has gained popularity since it debuted in 2023 with The Pumpkin Spice Café, but there may be some entries in this series readers don't know about. The first book kicks off with protagonist Jeanie inheriting a coffee shop from her aunt, located in the town of Dream Harbor, where she meets grumpy farmer Logan.
Currently, the Dream Harbor series includes six released novels that follow various couples around the titular small town, all rooted in a specific season. Hazel and Noah are featured in The Cinnamon Bun Book Store, while Jeanie's brother Bennett and newcomer Kira take center stage in The Christmas Tree Farm. Then The Strawberry Patch Pancake House follows single dad/chef Archer and nanny Iris.
The two most recent releases in Gilmore's Dream Harbor series are The Gingerbread Bakery, which finally fulfills the enemies to lovers teases for Annie and Mac that had been woven into previous books, and The Daisy Chain Flower Shop, which introduces new characters Daisy and Elliot with a fake dating storyline. However, there are more Dream Harbor books beyond these novels.
All told, there are a total of 12 books that are part of the Dream Harbor series. In addition to the six published novels mentioned above, there are three coloring books (one of which is still upcoming), one cookbook, one novella and one more full-length novel that's set to be released next year. The popularity of Gilmore's Dream Harbor series has encouraged the author, and publisher HarperCollins, to expand beyond the main romance novels into more interactive books, like the coloring books, and a cookbook inspired by the many food-based stories in the series. Here are the three coloring books and one cookbook that are currently available or upcoming:

In addition to these four books, Gilmore also announced that a new novella set in Dream Harbor will be published globally by HarperCollins in June 2027. The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor was previously released exclusively in The Netherlands and Belgium as part of their English Book Week, but will finally be available worldwide next year. The book introduces Leo and Charlotte, and gives them a short, but sweet friends-to-lovers storyline.
On the subject of releasing The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor, Laurie Gilmore's editor Jennie Rothwell explained to ScreenRant why the novella's debut will come in June 2027:
It was always in the plan to release the novella to Laurie’s fans and to introduce them to a new Dream Harbor couple. Laurie Gilmore has become so well known for her escapist seasonal books, and while we know her fans have been keen to get their hands on this for a while, we wanted to make sure that we release it at the right time so that readers get the romance exactly when they want (and expect) it. As this is set over a hot sunny weekend and has an ice cream parlor setting, it felt essential to have a summer publication date.
The final Dream Harbor book readers may not know about was announced at the same time as The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor's publication. A new Dream Harbor romance novel will release in Fall 2027. We don't yet know the title of the new book, nor which couple it will follow, but personally I have a guess. I suspect the new Dream Harbor book may tell the story of Elliot's brother Caleb and the veterinarian Vivienne, but, of course, that's just speculation until Gilmore officially announces the new couple!
For now, Dream Harbor fans have The Official Pumpkin Spice Café Cookbook and The Gingerbread Bakery Coloring and Sticker Book to look forward to this year, then The Apple Pie Ice Cream Parlor and the unnamed Dream Harbor book in June and Fall 2027. Lovers of Gilmore's writing will also want to check out her upcoming paranormal romance series, Maple Hollow, which kicks off with Big Bad Wolf on September 8, and continues with Wild Wicked Mate on October 20.
