The three best new Prime Video series to binge-watch this weekend, October 16–18, 2026, range from a celebrated action thriller to a modern horror masterpiece. Prime Video subscribers who are looking for the perfect spooky weekend binge are in luck this weekend, as the #1 series on the platform is also one of the very best new horror series on any streaming service right now, similar to Peacock's newly released Crystal Lake series.

Some of the best Prime Video series to binge-watch earlier this week included The Rainmaker, which just premiered in its second season on USA Network but has all of season 1 completely available now on Prime, and A Love Other Than Yours, a romantic K-drama that is one of the most-watched Prime Video series in the world right now. If you're looking for the latest and greatest shows on Prime Video to binge-watch all weekend long, the following three series are guaranteed to keep you hooked from Friday to Sunday.

Helluva Boss

Helluva Boss just premiered its third season on Prime Video this Wednesday, October 14, and has quickly regained its status as one of the streamer's most popular adult animated series. Helluva Boss earned a strong 81% Rotten Tomatoes audience score for its first two seasons and is already off to an impressive start with season 3, ranking #5 on Prime Video's worldwide streaming chart at the time of writing. The series follows a group of demon assassins sent from Hell to take out human targets.

Helluva Boss is one of the most interesting genre-blending series on Prime Video, combining elements of dark comedy, musical, fantasy, action, and thriller all into one magnificent series. Fans praise the series for its innovative storytelling, likable characters, and easy binge format, consisting of eight short episodes per season that all range from 11 to 30 minutes. If you're a fan of shows like Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss is a great choice for you this weekend.

The Terminal List

It's officially time to start getting ready for the launch of The Terminal List season 2, which debuts on Prime Video next Friday, October 23. After years of waiting for a follow-up to one of Prime Video's most-watched original series ever made, The Terminal List finally returns to the streamer in just a matter of days with Chris Pratt back in teh spotlight. While The Terminal List: Dark Wolf prequel whets the appetites of audiences, The Terminal List season 2 is what they've really been waiting for.

The Terminal List season 2 is based on True Believer, the second book in the James Reece book series written by retired Navy SEAL Jack Carr. The Terminal List season 2 could set the stage for the series to become another Reacher-like entity, with several books still yet to adapt and an A-list star in the driver's seat. Following the events of The Terminal List season 1, season 2 gives James Reece a new challenge as he is offered a full pardon in exchange for hunting down a terrorist group. If you love shows like Lioness, The Terminal List is a must-watch ahead of season 2.

Carrie

Carrie is once again the best show on Prime Video to binge-watch this weekend, even if it's for the second time. Carrie is the latest series from horror master Mike Flanagan, who has created some of the most cherished modern masterpieces of the genre in recent years, like The Haunting of Hill House. Based on Stephen King's debut horror novel, Carrie is a brilliant reimagining of teh classic tale set in a present-day landscape where bullying still runs rampant in a small town school in Maine.

Carrie consists of eight episodes and marks the first-ever series-length adaptation of the source material. Some have even argued that it's the greatest adaptation of King's book ever made, as evidenced by its strong 85% Rotten Tomatoes score. Holding firmly onto Prime Video's #1 worldwide streaming spot, there's truly no better series to watch on the platform this weekend than Carrie, especially now that Halloween is only two weeks away.
