The summer solstice may have been on June 20 this year, but it really starts to feel like summer when the long Fourth of July weekend finally arrives. Though we're spending more time outdoors basking in the sun, we still have plenty of time to test new beauty products, and July is about to produce quite the haul.

Summer is in full swing, and so are the new and exciting seasonal beauty launches. In the hair, skin, makeup, body, and fragrance categories, brands have been turning out new and improved formulations, and we're impressed. From glowy facial sunscreen formulas that are actually enjoyable to apply to citrus perfumes that smell like summer in a bottle and hair products that finally smooth that veil of frizz we're so prone to getting, there's something for everyone.

Whether you're looking to do some shopping before you head out on vacation (hopefully to somewhere tropical) or you just like to keep tabs on what's new and hot in the beauty industry (we can relate), there are plenty of new beauty launches to stock up on. PS editors have already found some of the best new hair, makeup, skin, and body products for the month. Keep reading to find some of our favorite product picks for July.

Best Facial Tool

Best Facial Tool

Medicube Booster Pro X2 ($239, originally $299)

"You've likely seen the Medicube Booster Pro all over your feeds thanks to its many celebrity and influencer fans. Now, the brand has released a new and improved version with three new modes to pack in even more benefits. It has the same air shot, booster, derma shot, and MC mode that you know and love, with the addition of dual mode (combining two treatments into one), mask mode (for optimizing your sheet masks), and AI mode (for guided recommendations)." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best SPF

Best SPF

Medieval Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum SPF 50 ($22)

"Face sunscreens that don't give me a white cast have been notoriously hard to find. I love the Medieval Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum SPF 50 because it doesn't break me out (even though I'm ridiculously acne-prone), and instead, its serum-like texture leaves my skin glowy and bright. Plus, it layers well under makeup." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Soothing Sheet Masks

Best Soothing Sheet Masks

Rael Cryo + Soothing Hydrogel Mask ($19)

"Rael has a new line of sheet masks, and the Cryo + Soothing Hydrogel Mask is my standout favorite. The hydrogel makes for a super comfortable fit that stays put, whether you're watching TV or doing chores while it works its magic. It's packed with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and mushroom extract to hydrate, plump, and refresh skin to the max. I love that you leave it on for one hour and can see the mask turn from white to clear as the serum absorbs into your skin. I put mine in the fridge to make it extra refreshing." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Overnight Cream

Best Overnight Cream

Augustine's Bader The Overnight Restorative Cream ($365)

"During the summer, I love using a substantial cream at night. I'm in the sun so much (with SPF on, of course) I find that my skin — especially my face — dries out easily and needs lots of TLC. This overnight cream helps calm redness and irritation, and I always wake up looking fresh-faced when I use it. Now if they could only make an overnight cream like this one so my personality would wake up fresh-faced, I'd be perfect." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Rejuvenating Sheet Masks

Best Rejuvenating Sheet Masks

Dr.Reju-All Advanced PDRN Rejuvenating Mask ($17)

"Extra time in the sun and extreme heat always take a toll on my skin this time of year. Luckily, this ultra-hydrating face mask came to the rescue. Packed with buzzy ingredients like Salmon PDRN and copper peptides, the formula soothes the skin barrier while hydrating and firming. Bonus points for the included neck sheet, which really makes it feel like a luxury spa experience." — Adi Giesey, Shopping Writer

Best Lip and Cheek Stick

Best Lip and Cheek Stick

Kosas Impressionist Multistick Cream Blush Stick + Lip Color ($34)

"Blush sticks are really the MVP of my summer makeup look. I just added the Kosas Impressionist Multistick Cream Blush Stick + Lip Color to my routine, and I'm truly in love. The rounded applicator makes it easy to apply pigment directly to my cheeks, nose, and lips for a monochromatic color moment, and it blends smoothly with my fingertips without shifting my complexion products underneath." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Powder

Best Powder

Kylie Cosmetics Natural Blur Brightening Powder ($24)

"Kylie Cosmetics just launched a brightening powder, and to say I'm obsessed is an understatement. I've been using the translucent shade underneath my eyes to blur and brighten the area. The product is lightweight and gives a smoothing effect that I can only liken to Facetune, but in real life. Yep, I'm sold." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Mascara

Best Mascara

Merit Clean Volume Mascara ($28)

"I was lucky enough to test this mascara months before launch and I have worn it nearly every day since. It's the perfect lightweight, buildable formula that adds just the right amount of length and definition. As a loyal tubing mascara user, I especially love how it is easy to remove and stays smudgeproof under pressure (even during a heat wave)." — Adi Giesey, Shopping Writer

Best Bronzer

Best Bronzer

Refy Water Bronzer ($30)

"Refy Water Bronzer has been going viral for a reason — it gives the perfect bronzy glow without adding extra texture to your face. It's lightweight, easy to blend, and perfect for any occasion — days when you want to layer on full glam and days when you want your makeup to feel lightweight and breathable." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Cream-to-Powder Blush

Best Cream-to-Powder Blush

Armani Beauty Dolci Blush in Mauve ($39)

"This might sound crazy but I almost never wear blush. My cheeks are naturally rosy, and as someone who spends most of their time trying to cover redness, something felt counterintuitive about reapplying more color. That was until I tried these new Armani blush balms. The cream-to-powder formula is very beginner-friendly and melts right into the skin. Now I find myself excited to add this step to my everyday makeup routine. I'm loving shade mauve for a subtle flush." — Adi Giesey, Shopping Writer

Best Lip Stain

Best Lip Stain

Benefit Benetint Pocket Pal ($28)

"This might be the cutest invention of 2026. The Benefit Benetint Pocket Pal fits perfectly in my purse, and it gives my lips (and sometimes cheeks) the best long-lasting tint. I've been using shade Rasberry all over my mouth, and it's just like my lips, but better." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Multipurpose Complexion Balm

Best Multipurpose Complexion Balm

Versed Everything Balm Complexion Color ($16)

"I love a multipurpose beauty product — especially in the summertime when I'm constantly on the go and like to keep the items that I'm bringing with me to a minimum. The Versed Everything Balm Complexion Color can be used — well — everywhere you want to add warmth to your face. I put it on my cheeks, eyelids, bridge of my nose, forehead, you name it. Think of it like a blush bronzer hybrid that you can apply with your fingers, and it melts in with the rest of your products." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Hair Oil

Best Hair Oil

Crown Affair The Radiance Hair Oil ($48)

"I have fine hair, so finding a hair oil that gives my hair shine without weighing it down can sometimes be difficult. The Radiance Hair Oil from Crown Affair checks all my boxes. It makes my hair feel nourished and healthy, gives me a nice sheen, and it smells great." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Scalp Serum

Best Scalp Serum

Dr. Groot Scalp Barrier Boost Oil in Serum ($37)

"I've been obsessing over Dr. Groot products lately. The shampoo and conditioner are one of my go-to duos, so when I learned they were coming out with a scalp serum, I knew I wanted to test it out. This leave-in treatment helps rebalance the scalp, and it's perfect for all hair types. I use it on nights before hair wash days and it's fit into my hair-care routine perfectly." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Hair Balm

Best Hair Balm

Diffar Fragrance Multi Balm ($79)

"This melting balm is made for hair and skin, and it's become one of my beauty staples. I've been using it with my slick backs, which has upped my fragrance game tenfold. I also wear it on the inside of my wrists and behind my ears, and the scent lasts forever." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Body Scrub

Best Body Scrub

Irene Forte Red Algae Resurfacing Body Exfoliator ($105)

"I love a good body scrub to keep my skin smooth and bright (and also prep before applying self-tanner). The Irene Forte Red Algae Resurfacing Body Exfoliator combines physical (red algae powder and volcanic pumice stone) and chemical exfoliants (tartaric, malic, and citric acids) to buff away dead skin and dry patches. It's effective without being abrasive and leaves my skin feeling silky." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Moisturizer Bar

Best Moisturizer Bar

Lush Coconut Drench Massage Bar ($15)

"If there's one product I can put you on this summer, let it be the Lush Coconut Dream Massage Bar. I've historically been a body oil girl, but this product changed all of that. All you have to do is rub it over your body, and it makes you smell good, look good, and feel good. What more could anyone want? It gives my body the best glow, all without feeling sticky or gross. Plus, the scent lasts forever. It's truly perfection." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Perfume Gel

Best Perfume Gel

Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Parfum Perfume Gel ($65)

"A perfume gel is seriously genius, and I don't know how I haven't tried one until now. The new Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Parfum Perfume Gel comes in an easy-to-use, pocket-sized applicator with an alcohol-free, non-oily gel formula. It smells like the brand's iconic Light Blue fragrance with notes of Sicilian lemon, Granny Smith Apple, and cedarwood." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Fresh Perfume

Best Fresh Perfume

Love Island x Scentbird Eau de Parfum ($39)

"A new bombshell has entered the villa, and it's you wearing this perfume. I'm obsessed with this fresh, woody-fruity scent. It has notes of peach, yuzu, musk, gardenia, and driftwood for a juicy, downright edible scent." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Room Scent

Best Room Scent

Pura Soundscape Calming Waters Fragrance Refill ($18)

"I'm historically a poor sleeper, so I'm constantly looking for things to increase the zen vibes in my space and help me reach REM. I have a Pura Home Smart Diffuser in my bedroom (and my living room, for that matter), but I upgraded by adding the Soundscape Calming Waters Fragrance Refill to go off before bedtime. This scent, along with two others, was launched in partnership with the Calm app, which, if you're not familiar, is loaded with meditations, sound baths, and other resources for mental health." — Jessica Harrington, Section Lead, Beauty

Best Toothbrush

Best Toothbrush

Suri Electric Toothbrush ($135)

"I recently switched over to a Suri toothbrush and trust me when I say: I'm never going back to anything else. Not only does it leave my teeth feeling squeaky clean, but it also has the cutest holder that attaches to my bathroom mirror." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer

Best Brush Cleaner

Best Brush Cleaner

KJH Brand Fresh Start Brush Soap ($26)

"I'll be the first to admit that there is nothing I put off more than washing my makeup brushes. But this adorable brush soap, created by makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes (aka the mastermind behind Dua Lipa's wedding glam), might inspire me to make it a regular habit. Not only will the chic aluminum case look pretty on your vanity, but it has a built-in drain to help take the guesswork out of the actual washing process." — Adi Giesey, Shopping Writer

Best Sleep Bra For Wrinkles

Best Sleep Bra For Wrinkles

Mindi Walters Crease Release Sleep Bra ($58)

"I've recently started noticing wrinkles in my chest area, but thankfully, I was introduced to the Mindi Walters Crease Release Sleep Bra. It's so comfortable to sleep in, it's cute, and I've definitely noticed fewer lines around my chest in the morning when I wake up. I've been pairing it with the brand's Snow Melt Overnight Mask, and I swear I wake up feeling like I just got home from the spa." — Renee Rodriguez, senior staff writer and producer
