Ray Romano is stepping into the shoes of a new dad character 21 years after Everybody Loves Raymond ended.

Deadline now reports that Romano has been cast in the pilot for HBO Max's new family drama series How to Survive Without Me. He will play Leo, a suddenly widowed father who must help his five adult children through their grief.
