Zendaya and Tom Holland Privately Got Married, Law Roach Says

With great power comes great responsibility. And so as one of Zendaya's closest confidantes, her longtime stylist Law Roach knew it was his job to inform fans that she and Tom Holland had privately tied the knot

"The wedding has already happened," the fashion guru told Access Hollywood at the March 1 Actor Awards. "You missed it."

Though it is possible he's simply creating a tangled web of lies to distract from the actual main event.

Because while the 47-year-old insisted with a laugh, "It's very true," it was just this past July that he was telling E! News, "The process hasn't even started yet."

With the bride committed to a full slate of movies, they were quite far from making it down the aisle, he added: "She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time." (E! News has reached out to reps for Zendaya for comment.)

Of course, with their immeasurable pull, it's possible she and Tom, both 29, were able to assemble their inner circle and an eager collection of wedding vendors quite quickly.

And The Challengers lead did recently swap the 5.02-carat cushion Jessica McCormick-designed diamond she debuted at the 2025 Golden Globes for a more understated gold band

Either way, with Zendaya detailing her desire for privacy in a recent Interview magazine conversation with The Drama costar Robert Pattinson it seems all but certain the couple will keep every euphoria-inducing detail to themselves.

"I try to be honest to who I am when I am in public," she explained, "but I also try to keep things for myself."

Fortunately, the pair are happy to weave the origins of their love story for fans.

Tom's recollection involves him going in for a handshake during their chemistry read for 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming as Zendaya leaned in for a hug.

"It was very embarrassing actually, for me," he shared with The Hollywood Reporter at the time. "It was just one of those moments where it just wasn’t my smoothest moment."

Zendaya, however, was unfazed.

"I don’t remember that," she recounted toVariety after the first film in their Spider-Man oeuvre was released. "I thought it was cool."

And he definitely passed her initial relationship test, Zendaya also sharing in her Interview chat that she takes note of how her fellow stars treat everyone on set.

"I admire people who are kind to everyone, not just the actors, directors, or producers," she explained. "A very telling thing is how a crew feels about a particular actor, because they get to see how people are when the cameras are not rolling."

As for Tom, he's happy to have a partner who knows that with the great power of topping a call sheet comes that responsibility to not be a jerk.

"I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life," he shared on a 2023 episode of SmartLess. "It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you."

And as they cruise toward their happily ever after, we're untangling all of the details surrounding their extremely hush-hush big day.

When Is Zendaya and Tom Holland's Wedding Date?

Zendaya and Tom Holland, engaged since December 2024, weren't interested in rushing down the aisle.

"I’m resting up for 2026," the actress' longtime stylist Law Roach quipped to E! News in April 2025 when the subject of Zendaya's big day was broached.

Several months later, he told E! at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards that "the process hasn't even started yet." As he explained, "Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time."

The Dress

Presumably there will be dresses, one for the vows, another for the reception and others for nuptial-adjacent activities. (Though that isn't to say there won't be a stunning outfit involving pants somewhere in the itinerary.)

But what there won't be, Law predicted, is a glossy chronicling of how it all came together, the pro guessing that "nobody will ever see" her bridal look.

Zendaya and Tom are "trying to be as private as possible," the Project Runway judge explained on a May episode of Complex's Please Explain. "There won't be a Vogue spread or there won't be pictures of the wedding and the people who she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy, so it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see."

The tiniest sample size of possibilities: Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquière and Michael Kors are among the designers close to Zendaya's heart, and other favorite labels include Versace, Valentino and Tom Ford.

The Guest List

Obviously the Tom-Zendaya nuptials have the potential to be an extremely star-studded affair should they go that route.

In addition to parents and siblings (Zendaya has three half-sisters and two half-brothers on her father's side, while Tom has three younger brothers), the bride's list could include pals Timothée Chalamet, Bella Thorne and Hunter Schafer, and the groom is close in real life with Jacob Batalon, who plays Peter Parker's best friend Ned in the MCU.

"She's really become a sister," Timothée told Variety in 2022 of his Dune costar. "I’m so grateful to count her as a partner and a sister and a friend."

Storm Reid, who played Zendaya's little sister on Euphoria, told E! News in September 2025, "I want to be a flower girl. I want to make that happen." But even if she doesn't get to make her way down the aisle, Storm added, "I'm just so excited for her. Whenever that happens, she deserves all the best that the world has to offer."

The Entertainment

There will be dancing, obviously, but as for more curated entertainment, Holland recently struck up a friendship with Benson Boone—who is free on that day, whenever it comes.

"Immediate yes, of course, of course," the "Slow It Down" singer told E! News at the 2025 American Music Awards in May when asked if he'd answer the call to perform for the happy couple. "I'm not gonna pass that over."

And, really, will the marriage even be legal if the newlyweds don't engage in a lip sync battle?

The Rings

Zendaya may have provided a glimpse when she began sporting a delicate gold band on the fourth finger of her left hand.

And though she slipped the accessory on in place of her engagement ring, no doubt the understated piece will complement the 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring from British jeweler Jessica McCormack. Per the jeweler's website, the bauble boasts a Georgian style cut-down setting in 18-karat white gold and yellow gold.

"He had purchased a ring," Tom's dad, comedian Dominic Holland, wrote in a January 2025 Patreon post, confirming a proposal had taken place. "He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…"

The Location

Zendaya and Tom could pretty much get married anywhere, but what's not to like about tying the knot in the groom's native England or thereabouts?

If you're looking to have a fairy-tale day, the United Kingdom has castles.

The Spectacle

Or lack thereof.

As Zendaya put it to GQ in 2021, "I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other."

Because, as she explained in a February 2026 Interview magazine conversation with The Drama costar Robert Pattinson, “At the end of the day, you’re a public figure, there’s nothing you can do, but some things are meant for yourself and for your loved ones."
