Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson put on a loved-up display in cosy new snaps uploaded to Instagram on Thursday.

The former Love Island star, 29, and the One Directioner, 34, proved they were as strong as ever as they supported England in their first World Cup game against Croatia.

In one snap Zara leaned in to Louis and planted a sweet kiss on his cheek as they stood in the grounds of what looked like a sprawling house in a sunny location.

Louis wore his official white England top and shades as he beamed back at the camera.

While brunette beauty Zara looked as stylish as always in a white dress while accessorising with gold earrings.

It comes after earlier this week Zara confessed she struggles to sleep when she is apart from Louis, as the couple juggle the challenges of a long-distance romance.

She has been proudly supporting the singer on his solo tour, but her own work commitments have meant she's been forced to fly back to the UK on several occasions.

Zara has now shared that due to the lengthy flights to and from the US, she can spend hours lying awake in bed when she's away from her partner Louis.

The couple started dating in March 2025, after she split from presenter Sam Thompson after five years together.

Speaking in her latest YouTube video, Zara said: 'It is really, really strange. I filmed three shows in the space of a month and I've been to America and back. That's actually insane when you think about it.

'I would genuinely say my sleep situation, especially this last couple of weeks, has been beyond horrific. I was thinking the other day, this must be what it feels like when you're in the newborn trenches or when you have a child.

'This is the second time in the space of seven nights that I actually have not slept the whole night.

'Like when I say not slept the whole night, I mean I haven't had one second of sleep. I have laid there the entire night.

'I'm so used to being in bed with my partner as well, we're always together, so when we're not together, and I'm filming somewhere, and I feel a bit discombobulated and I'm all feeling all over the shop, and then he's not there, and I sometimes just lose slight bearings of where I am and I don't have him with me.

'I find it like, it's really strange, I have never been the kind of person to fall asleep in the middle of a TV show or anything, but when we're together, I'm knocked out, I'm gone, I'm literally gone, the best sleep of my life.

'When we're apart, I can't fall asleep, I cannot fall asleep. I feel like there must, there must be some kind of psychological safety thing, in like when you're with your partner, you can actually fully relax and let your guard down and actually sleep.

'Whereas, yeah when we're not together, I find sleeping I actually dread going to sleep because I'm like, I'm just not going to be able to sleep properly.

'And I think maybe I've got it slightly in my own head as well nowadays.'

It comes after Zara found herself at the centre of a vicious deepfake campaign recently after she was pictured accepting a platonic kiss from Joey Essex at a recent event.

She features alongside the fellow seasoned reality TV veteran on the latest series of ITV's Cooking With The Stars.

But she inadvertently sparked wild cheating rumours among Louis's notoriously fickle fanbase after Essex gave her a parting kiss on the cheek as they exited a wrap party.

The innocent exchange has also resulted in the emergence of an unsavoury online deepfake featuring Zara and her co-star locked in a passionate embrace.

Fans subsequently leapt to the TV personality's defence after her social media channels were flooded with unfounded accusations of infidelity.

The TV personality is thought to have struck up a friendship with Joey while filming Cooking With The Stars.

A source close to the former TOWIE star told The Sun: 'Zara and Joey grew close during filming and have become good friends.

'They got on really well but it's all very innocent. There's nothing romantic there between them.'
