Zach Bryan BLOCKED ex-girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry after shock split

Zach Bryan's ex-girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry claims that he's blocked her on Instagram in wake of their drama-plagued split.

The 25-year-old made the shock claim while promoting her upcoming diss track 'Smallest Man' featuring her BFFs podcasts co-hosts Josh Richards and Dave Portnoy.

The trio uploaded the song's cover art to the BFFs Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that it would be released at midnight.

While many fans expressed excitement over the track, others slammed Brianna, Dave and Josh for not being 'brave enough' to tag Zach in the promo post.

'we r all blocked,' Brianna fired back in the comments section.

This comes just two weeks after Zach, 28, shocked fans — and Brianna herself — by announcing their split on his Instagram Story.

'Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with eachother (sic) and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,' the country crooner began.

'She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I'll always thank her.

'I've had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go out different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.

'Please respect Brianna's privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.'

'With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself,' Zach concluded.

Hours later, Brianna uploaded a tearful video to her YouTube account, where she admitted to being 'completely blindsided' by the breakup as she wallowed on her bathroom floor.

She also claimed that Zach — who she'd been dating since July 2023 — made the public announcement without telling her beforehand.

'I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up and I have no idea that post was going up. He didn't text me, he didn't call me,' she told the camera.

She revealed she woke up to an influx of text messages asking if she was okay before she learned that Zach had confirmed their split to the world. 

'I just woke up to a bunch of texts being like, are you ok? And I'm like, did my f**king dad die? Yeah so I'm completely blindsided by that. I also genuinely feel like... I've been crying for like five days straight.

'Sorry if this video is going to be a lot of jumping around but I'm at the point where it's like, how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally like through stuff that you shouldn't?... like you see the good in them.

'This is so embarrassing,' she said. 'I don't give a f**k. How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded of in a few days? It's really, really heartbreaking.

'I don't want to talk details right now, I don't want to talk about it yet. I will, obviously. But right now I wanted to heal privately and I didn't even know he was going to post that. We broke up yesterday. I wasn't ready to do anything publicly.

'Now I'm just getting a bajillion freaking texts and s**t. I wanted to just handle this as a human first and now it's not that. I'm just asking if you guys can please... respect my privacy right now and when I'm ready to talk about everything that happened, I will. But right now I'm just completely blindsided. And thank you for all the kind messages. I'm going to be okay, I'm going to be fine.

'I want to just be hurt for a week and like lay in bed. I just didn't want it to be public. I'm just feeling blindsided. I love you guys a lot,' she said.

In the aftermath of the spilt, the drama began spilling over to social media. 

Brianna's pal Portnoy posted a link to a telling song - Taylor Swift's The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived. 

Additionally, an X user also shared alleged private DMs between Zach and a mystery woman.

It's unclear when the messages occurred or who he was speaking with and the posts were subsequently deleted from X.

The breakup announcement came one day after fans speculated the duo had gone their separate ways after a Reddit user claimed to have seen Zach on the celebrity dating app Raya with photos of his alleged profile, in addition to a photo of a handwritten poem shared by Brianna to her Instagram.

The poem read: 'And eventually you'll find that life goes on, even if you don't want it to. The days will pass and the world will move while you ask it to stop.

'You'll believe life is cruel for continuing on while your feet are stuck.

'You'll find people and moments to blame for your concrete feet.

'Then there will come a morning when you wake and realize things go on, life isn't cruel your feet are.

'The world keeps on spinning in hopes of showing you that you can as well.' It contained a drawing of a single stick-figure at the bottom.

A source told DailyMail.com that Zach's impulsive split from Brianna stemmed from his ongoing mental health struggles and grief over his mother's death which caused him to spiral into self sabotage.

Zach has been struggling to cope with the 'emotional rollercoaster' he has been on since his mother Annette died in 2016, according to insiders who claim the singer has trouble maintaining relationships as he is still trying to 'figure himself out.'

'Zach's life has been an emotional rollercoaster ever since his mother died,' an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. 'Zach is dealing with mental health struggles.

'His mom was his rock, and he was able to learn from her and her struggles, and now he doesn't have that outlet. Brianna was someone who took on Zach on and dealt with all his struggles.'

The source said he 'can't handle relationships very well because he is still trying to figure himself out,' adding that he 'doesn't want to be a burden.'

They continued: 'Plus once things are great, he seems to sabotage himself by removing himself from a good thing and that seems to be what he is doing with Brianna.'

Zach really wants to be in a relationship, but simply can't handle one on top of everything else.

'He can't deal with so much anxiety in life,' the insider continued. 'He finds it hard enough to navigate his life, his career and his mental health, so it’s hard to throw a relationship into the mix no matter how good it is, even though that is exactly what he wants.

‘Zach definitely chases people who will be there for him at all costs. Once he feels that isn't there, he drops them cold turkey.

'Brianna just happens to be the latest person to deal with it. When she says she was blindsided, she is telling the truth.'
