PlayStation 5 owners now have another way to fund their digital game purchases -- Apple Pay. You can now use the payment method natively on your console. However, Apple Pay isn't currently available on PS4 consoles.
Here's how it works.
Navigate to whichever purchase you're looking to make, choose your payment option on checkout, and select Apple Pay. You'll then be able to confirm your purchase using Apple Pay.
You can save Apple Pay as your preferred payment method so it's as quick as using your saved credit or debit card, letting you use it to buy games, add-ons and other digital purchases on your PS5. It could also give you an opportunity to earn rewards if you're an Apple Card* user, which offers 2% cash back for Apple Pay purchases.
*All information about the Apple Card has been collected independently by CNET and has not been reviewed by the issuer.
