The Sonos Arc Ultra is a great way to upgrade your TV. You'll get the most out of this soundbar if your set has an eARC port. This soundbar promises room-filling sound, Dolby Atmos support, Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, voice commands, and touch controls, and operates as both a soundbar and a smart speaker for your living room.

Sonos released the Arc Ultra in late 2024, giving the company plenty of time to iron out software issues. The Arc Ultra comes with Sound Motion, an audio technology that delivers bigger bass in a smaller package, allowing room for additional tweeters and midrange drivers.
Compared to the first-generation Arc, the Arc Ultra has a deeper, more noticeable bass response and clearer audio reproduction in the mid-to-high range. On its own, the Arc Ultra is a capable soundbar, and you'll instantly notice a difference between it and your TV speakers or a smaller, more affordable soundbar.
The Arc Ultra performs best in larger rooms or environments where you can often increase its volume without disturbing others. For smaller rooms or shared spaces, consider a Sonos Ray or Beam, both of which are on sale right now.

Sonos soundbars are an easy way to upgrade your home theater, as they offer full functionality with any TV that has an eARC port. However, once you've started to build your system with a soundbar, you're locked into buying Sonos' other products to expand your home theater. Sonos products use the Sonos app to communicate with each other, and none of them have analog ports for connecting external devices.
Still, the Arc Ultra is the centerpiece of my living room, and I can't deny its powerful performance. The Arc Ultra shines even more when paired with a Sub 4 and two Era 300 speakers, all of which are on sale right now.

The Sonos Arc Ultra earns a 3/5 rating for its rare $200 discount on a high-value product. It's one of those products that you won't often find at such a low price. Keep in mind that the Arc Ultra's MSRP has increased by $100 since its Fall 2024 release.
Anyone who doesn't want a soundbar that requires a compatibility-branded TV to operate at its full performance will appreciate what Sonos has to offer. All you need is an eARC port, and you're ready to go.
