Years ago, Blizzard Entertainment devs teased one of the earliest hero concepts for Overwatch. Don’t let your dreams die, kids, because that exact hero is now coming to the game next week.
Jetpack Cat. Yeah, that one. Jetpack Cat! That’s her actual name in the game, and one of five new heroes coming to Overwatch (the 2 is gone) on Feb. 10 as part of The Reign of Talon, the game’s large-scale 2026 update that will change a lot about the game.

First and foremost, Jetpack Cat’s real name is Fika, and she is clearly a very good girl, aligning herself with Overwatch for that sweet jetpack gear. But kit-wise, Jetpack Cat’s Lifeline ability allows them to toggle into transport mode and tow an ally. While being towed, her movement speed will increase, and the ally will be healed, so be prepared to be literally carried by this cat if you’re on their team.
While her passive Jetpack ability allows for permanent flight, and Frenetic Flight will give her a movement boost, Jetpack Cat stays in the battle with Biotic Pawjectiles, which heal allies and damage enemies, and her Purr ability that will pulse and heal in a frequency that increases over time while also knocking back enemies when first activated.
Their ultimate is adorably called Catnapper, allowing Jetpack Cat to dive towards the ground, knock down enemies, and tether the nearest one to itself. Say bye-bye, because whoever gets catnapped will then be living in Jetpack Cat’s world from then on out.
